When I was young I used to hate this place in the middle of nowhere, having to waste a Sunday afternoon because the parents decided to have Kaffee und Kuchen there when I much rather would have hung out with friends. Today all has changed (or have I become my parents?) The location is "out"standing. Way out ... The food is phenomenal, but simple. I had some venison here before, but on the last visit I opted for a pan fried whole trout. Heavenly. Beverage are the standard fare: Apfelwein for me. And the service was friendly, cool, relaxed, efficient. A blast! I shall be back.
