We drove here, and luckily there are 3-4 off road parking spots available, just up the road. We were welcomed warmly once in the restaurant and given free shot glasses of ouzo as an amuse-bouche. The menu was well set up for non-Dutchies and had English translations. I'm always a big fan of a sampler menu and so decided to take that option - Menu 1 for €25.50 sounded good, especially since our lovely waitress verified the protein was all chicken and pork and lamb, with no beef. Once our order was in, the food started coming fairly quickly. We got the Pikili and holy Moly - so much good food! The baba ganoush was the star for me, and I also really liked the feta & spinach pie. The taramasalata (pink dip) was too salty for me, but that's to be expected as it's made with fish eggs. There was a lovely Tzatziki dip as well. The Starter was quite filling, and then we also got a Greek salad as part of our main, so I sort of already knew at this point that I'd be doing a doggie bag of the mains. Speaking of the mains, the gyro meat was the absolute standout, but all of the offerings were well spiced without being salty or overpowered. Chicken was tasty with a fantastic oregano spice coming thru. The bifteki was made in-house and great mix of white meats. I also really liked the cooked vegetables. Overall fantastic and very hearty + generous serving of our mains. And everything tasted delicious! Our meal also included desserts or coffee / tea and I opted to get Greek Yogurt with nuts & honey - such a perfect ending to the meal! By the way, there is a banana dish mentioned in the menu, but that's no longer on the menu as an option. I really had a fabulous delicious dinner and experienced lovely service.
