For the price asked, the food is good no arguments here. Most people come here for the all you can eat ribs. But, the food is served on a reused wooden plate.. I've seen similar restaurants letting their customers take their used wooden plate home and using new ones all the time. Wood is a bacterial hazard, so it's not very hygienic. Al be it the way we ate our food in cellars in medieval times

The place was packed so it's advised to make reservations up front. We had a little amuse, followed by the starters duck tartare and foie grass.. Wasn't amazed then the second course (fish) ok.. Main dish was great (I had the lamb) and I absolutely loved the desert (citrus fruits and home made vanilla ice cream) Love the way they integrate local produce in their menu. Thumbs up! We had the 'Surprise' menu as it saved translating problems and we had plenty of time. This was preceded with a glass of Prosecco - bland, but followed with some very well chosen and impressive wines to match each course. The wines stood out as being 'just what you look for' in each particular category, with a particularly outstandingly good US Chardonnay. The food dishes were very inventive and excellent. You can see them being prepared by the two chefs if you get the right table. My only slight down being that they were a little slow arriving though our good company made this no problem on this night. A good place and well worth a detour.
