The pastas are fresh and so so tasty. Their stakes are cooked to perfection. Definitely try the steak bruschettas for appetizers. They are a little pricey compared to restaurants in Tepic, but totally worth the value. Service is impeccable. Had a great time here with parents. Leave room for dessert or at least a dessert cocktail. Speaking of cocktails, their drinks are innovative and very tasty. Try them out. This is a world-class restaurant in the middle of Mexico's smallest cities.

We have gone twice now while we are in town and each time. We ordered a Parilla, which has several types of their best meats and can feed up to 4. Comes with a large salada, various breads, and sauces as well. It's served on a small grill that continues to cook the meat on your table. It's really a sight to see and to enjoy. Tried their great martinis and a couple of melbecs (it's Argentian food after all). Service was fantastic and I think it's was a good value. Definitely will be back when I'm in town.

It took them around 45 minutes to set the lunch buffet, but it was well worth the wait. They did allow us to make a quick selection from the breakfast options so we could wait. They have freshly made waters in different flavors: cucumber/lime, coconut/orchata, a fruit blend. The waters are never the same, they are based on the season and fruit availability. The vegetable lasagna was excellent so delicious!!! Highly recommend this place. There's another location near the airport as well if your traveling out and want to catch breakfast before leaving. My wife and I had two different chilaquiles and our tia had enchiladas. All of it was beyond delicious. If you pair that with the beautiful views and polite and attentive staff, you won't find a much better place to have breakfast. Prices were more than reasonable and people would pay 3 times as much in the US for less quality.

Come with an appetite…read more The menu is huge and had too many descriptive words for my weak spanish so I decided to take a walk through the restaurant to see what the locals were ordering. The place seats at least 250 ppl and the place was packed. Most people were eating ceviche or tostadas so I went for shrimp ceviche tostadas but I asked for my shrimp to be cooked. My wife spotted a shrimp cheese fondue so I went for that as well. Both items came packed with shrimp. So many shrimp, I had to deconstruct the tostadas because they were too big. As you would expect in Tepic the price was also very reasonable.
Strawberry margarita. A bit salty for my liking.

Their cuts are moist and tender plus, they use real charcoal grills which just adds to the flavor. Furthermore, Las Banderillas could easily charge more for their food by simply making the look and feel of the establishment a bit pretentious but, it's obvious that's not what this business is about. It looks like a regular neighborhood grill where all the family can enjoy a nice cut of meat.
