The schnitzel, while served as two pieces versus one giant piece, was decently (but not perfectly) executed. Crispy, somewhat tender meat (could have been more tender) and a very flavorful sauce with fresh mushrooms. The spätzle was soft and buttery. Almost melted in my mouth. Can't go wrong with a nice Pilsner to wash it all down.

If you can and the weather allows it, dine in their outdoor area: it's lovely, has separated areas and is also protected from the neighbouring streets. Cuisine consists of different options: some more traditional plates (like schnitzel, potatoes and wurstel) but also some variation (fish, fish soup, octopus, pasta...). Overall the plates were delicious. One thing we all noticed, and that perhaps is of great value to know for customers, is that their steaks tend to be well done, even the ones they consider to be rare or, as they say "Englisch".
