The server we had was kind, but we expected that being so close to the border we'd have someone who spoke French, or one of the other several languages that our party spoke (excluding, of course, German). We were thus confined to rudimentary communication and one in our party who expected fried battered fish instead got the whole skin-on fish (not common to Americans, let alone picky ones). It was a good experience, and the food was great.

Nothing fancy, ham, salmon, a few other cold cuts, coffee with cream all very tasty. The dinners are also not fancy but very very very tasting, your regular schintzel, asparagus, etc. I can't describe it because everyone know what it looks like but I can almost taste it even right now.
