Holy moly, the view here is AMAZING! It's 1200 meters above sea level. The air is so crisp, you get to see the countryside (as well as the city down below), and the restaurant is composed of traditional Swiss food -- can't get better than that when in Switzerland. I had the chicken breast in mushroom sauce with noodles and really enjoyed it, to the point I finished the entire meal (this can be a rarity for me). Also tried the veal cordon bleu and it wasn't particularly my cup of tea, but the fries were bomb! Definitely worth going to see the view and to have a traditional Swiss meal. read more

We were there last year and had a fantastic time and great service. Beautiful view. So this year we decided to book a table again and enjoy our lunch on a busy Sunday. We arrived and waited a few minutes to be seated. Not too bad a wait even though two waiters were at the bar talking to each other and not paying any attention to us. But I assumed on a busy Sunday that makes sense. We were seated and then waited for a long time for our menus. About 10 minutes into the wait, another couple was seated on the table next to us. We finally received the menus and were soon ready to order. When one waiter passed us my husband told him that we were ready to order. He mouthed we had to wait a minute. Totally fine, its Sunday. He proceeded to take Photos for a large party and then returned to us but instead of taking our order he went to the table next to ours and took their order first, even though they had arrived much later than us. When my husband made him aware of that, he replied rudely " if you don't have 10 minutes to wait then you don't need to come up here on the mountain". We were stunned and silent after that. We ordered our food, but it didn't taste good anymore. I wrote an email to the owners of the restaurant letting them know what happened but haven't received a reply as of yet. The view is fantastic, the food is good. But the service makes it not worth the trip in the end. There are many more great restaurants with a view and way better service. read more
