We had been looking for a…read morelow key place to enjoy dinner but it was Carnival Weekend and most restaurants were crowded with rowdy celebrations.... we were thankful for Il Soprano Pizzas were large and flavorful. Tons of mushrooms! The salads had lots of leafy greens and the pairing seafood was fresh and plentiful Saluti!

Food was good once we got what we wanted. We learned today that pepperoni in Italy is what peppercini are to Americans. Never knew that. I have been to Italy many times but I guess they just want to please the tourists and know what Americans want when they say pepperoni. This place is not in a tourist area so they will give u what you ask for. So first pizza came out full of peppercinis. We hate peppercinis. And mine came out with shrimp when I asked for mushrooms... I don't know. Don't ask me how that went wrong. But I still ate it. It was alright. Not fresh shrimp obviously and very fishy but whatever. My husband ordered a second pizza with salami (aka closest thing to American pepperoni) and still came out with peppercinis as well as salami. He just took the peppers off at this point and ate it. So yea... make sure u ask what you are ordering first.
