A few minutes later the owner/head chef came by to speak to me and said they already committed their cheese fondue supplies to the evening, but if we wanted to eat a la carte without fondue they would be able to accommodate us. My wife and I and our two small dogs sat at a shared table. We ordered: - Beer pretzel - Veal sausage with pretzel - Pork sausage with potato rasti - Fried Beef liver bites The items came out at a reasonable pace given the place was busy. Any time we needed anything, including the check at the end, we would have to flag him down and ask. I don't recall him checking on us once during the entire meal. Service was average, at best. But the food, was very good. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli, and I had the ham, egg and cheese rosti. Along with a good German beer and my wife's choice of a prosecco, we were happy with the food....except for the bottle of water for the table.....that I was charged 11 euros for!
