Excellent sushi selection and Japanese grilled items…read more Restaurant was slow at first but right around 7:30 it got super busy. Definitely a popular spot. We got a combo selection that included salmon, mackerel, tuna. The grilled items included 2 chickens, beef, meatballs and a cheese/bacon. Also got A couple of grilled shrimp. It was all excellent. After that also got the beef udon noodles. It was very good. For desert we ordered a banana split with extra whip cream. It was excellent. Definitely worth a try in this town.
Riesling to go with the sushi.

We passed this place on the way to Chateau d'Auvers and we thought it was just a tacky, touristy Chinese restaurant. After checking various restaurants in town, we didn't find anything fancy, so we checked the menu anyway to find the prices were very reasonable and lots of people include the locals were eating. We sat outside in a walled area with a pond. The menu contained Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese and we just had Singapore Noodles and Seafood Noodles. They were fine but were a bit greasy. It wasn't anything special but was a good pit stop. Two local office workers were enjoying the Vietnamese menu and their Spring Rolls looked delicious. If you are visiting here and don't fancy a big meal at lunch time, this is an ideal place.

We also never received bread when we sat down. Eventually an English speaking staff person came to assist us. He was very nice and friendly. He brought bread when we requested it and he occasionally came to check on us to make sure that we were good to go. I ordered the Lorraine quiche and a side salad but I ended up with the French fries side instead. I also had a cappuccino. Everything I ate tasted good.

We stopped here on a small group tour between Monet's garden and Versailles. While it was refreshing to have a meal in the countryside versus in the city, it was just okay. It was less than stellar. The service was sub par. Even though we had the same thing, certain details were excluded from my dessert.
