I've been to this restaurant twice now, both times for organized functions with a lot of people. The first time we were upstairs and the appetizers came out as part of a fixed menu, same with the dessert, and the main course was a buffet. Like a wedding. It had a good view from upstairs of the ship coming out of the hall that evening. We kept checking out the window throughout the meal because the ship coming out process takes a long time.
The second time I went here we were on the ground floor. The first part of the event was beer and wine from the bar while we were milling about. They had soda and water (both still and sparkling) set up on tables too. For the dinner part of the event, we sat at tables and there was a curry chicken and rice buffet. Waiters milled about and refilled people's drinks, including water. But not mine. I had to get mine myself. I'll let you guess what they wouldn't help me. Because your guess would be as good as mine.
They heated the buffet tins with gas and flames and it filled the room with the odor of fumes. The outdoor area was enclosed with plastic because it was already cold outside. Like a wedding. With gas fumes.
But the food isn't so bad. And the supply of drinks is there...if you get it yourself. read more
