There were a lot of delicious options but unfortunately I just wanted fish and there were only two options for fish. I think a better name for the restaurant would've been seafood restaurant instead of the word fish in the name. Service was OK, I think the person that helped us was a bit nervous to speak English. But that's OK it all worked out. I would've got more wine if I was asked. And even dessert if I was asked. I think the quality is good so you can trust this as a reliable place for seafood.

I had the fried soft shell crab and it was delicious three people in my party got the seafood platter and let me tell ya it's nothing to scoff at you better be ready for it. He manage to continuously have an updated, yet classic french/danish menu with some of the most amazing fish you will get. The staff is excellent and provides good suggestions in wine and helps to provide a great atmosphere. This is not a cheap place to eat but compared to other restaurants in Denmark in the same league you get good value for money. Further the restaurant is situated in the center of Kerteminde just next to the harbour and if you come by ship you can get served on your own ship. If you have to buy a ship the overall experience might be overpriced!

My husband and I ordered different fish dishes, but as soon as we had our first bites, we both looked at each other... and he goes, "is yours as salty as mine?"... really, we couldn't believe how much salt they had put into those dishes! We managed to finish them with the aid of lots of bread (which, by the way, was also pretty salty!).
