We had braised pork shoulder with potato dumplings served in dark gravy. It was served with a salad as side dish. The other time we had Nuernberg grilled sausages and Steak. Utmost delicious. The only downside is the parking lot situation which is really bad. So be aware to either have a short walk or try to use the bus (which might be difficult). When sitting outside, be aware that this location is not far away from the Nuernberg Airport - so sometimes planes will fly by and it might get a little louder. So here´s my ranking - as always from 0-10 (whereas 10 is best). For the mains, I've had their braised pork shoulder, which was stellar, and beef tenderloin, which was very good. I was told by my local colleagues at one of the dinners that the braised pork shoulder is as good as it gets in Franconia. Definitely recommended.

Each main dish comes with house salad on the side. You can tell that this restaurant is for local family gathering. They are famous for their pork shoulder dish. We ordered their homemade soups (Horseradish creamy soup and garlic & chive soup - very creative recipe only found at this place :) also ordered spaetzle (Germany egg noodles) with deep fried onions on the top is very interesting dish (one of food must try when visiting Germany.
