Here on business, we dined at Restaurant Sinfonie located on the ground floor of the Maritim Hotel...this being Sinfonie's first Yelp review. I had both dinner and breakfast at Sinfonie. Our group sampled several dishes including the salad w/ chicken, the Spaghetti mit Rucola and the more traditional Schweineschnitzel. The highlight, however, was the Tomato Soup with Ricotta cream. It was rich, thick and very tasty...highly recommended. I'd rate Sinfonie a 3-star experience overall balancing the pros and cons. Along with the Tomato Soup, another star was the local Radeberger beer on draft...my first from this Eastern part of this country. Sinfonie lacked the kick we have come to expect in Germany's bigger cities but provided solid nourishment while watching the World Cup.

I was in the mood for pizza tonight, so I went to this place which had good reviews…read more Parking was a little difficult, as spaces were sparse, plan to walk a block. The outside looked nice, there were some outside tables and the inside looked cozy too. There is a paper menu with a great variety of pizzas and pasta. All food and beverages are very reasonably priced! The server was attentive and looked like she jumped off the cover of a fitness magazine. I ordered some nonalcoholic yeast beer, and I was quickly served with half a liter of ice cold brew. I also ordered bruschetta for starters and a pizza. After 10 minutes she came with my pizza. I asked about my starter. I was assured it would be coming. When I was half done, the chef personally showed up with the bruschetta. No apologies, oh well. At least he had an Italian accent, so I guess it's authentic. But what is most important: the pizza was delicious! Authentic Italian pizza, the bruschetta was fantastic as well. Not the decorated slice of bread you get at most places. Here they make two triangular pizza dough bread rolls, apparently freshly baked, then cut and garnished. Obviously the roll takes longer than the paper thin pizza dough, hence the delay. Pro tip: order beverages and starter then ask for more time if ordering bruschetta. All in all still a hidden gem in this lovely small town! Can't wait to go back!

This is a Tex-mex chain in the Eastern Germany area. It was very spacious inside with many tables…read moreand fun decorations. The menu is extensive with many options. We tried the barbecue tacos, tostadas, and Mexican rice. We liked all of it. The service was really great and our server was a really nice guy from Italy. Thank you so much!
