Great place...location, service, atmosphere and FOOD!!!…read more Yelp map leads you to the wrong place...is located in Hotel Seehof; near Untersee.

Bit weird I know and it's not like I can just fly over there for food... (unfortunately!) When I was living in Switzerland this place was an all time favourite. I've had a lot of Mexican throughout my life time (yet to go to Mexico...) and this place by far has the best Mexican I've tasted to date. Hands down. I literally lived out of this restaurant whenever we were on a ski holiday... helped it was right next/ in the hotel we were staying. The food is great - always of a high standard no matter when you go and the staff are really helpful and friendly. It's an intimate restaurant and parts had fairly dim lighting (from when I was last there and that was a while ago) but it made for a nice atmosphere especially when the weather is incredibly cold outside. They welcome kids and go above and beyond their expected call of duty by offering colouring books, pencils etc. They're really just so lovely. Arosa is very well known for its "children friendly slopes." There are a lot of families that go there over Winter break/ during ski season. They have a very well organised skischule for all levels (even adults). The instructors are really nice and not necessarily from Switzerland but they speak fluent Haute Deutsch as often English as well. It's a great place to go skiing. Arosa is smaller than some with most slopes being of average difficulty but the atmosphere is lovely. There are quite a few nice restaurants around for such a small town. It's also easy to access if you don't have a car - you can get to Arosa by train and then either walk around or catch the free shuttle bus (if you've got a ski pass, otherwise I think you have to pay). If you're heading to Arosa to hit up the slopes, make sure you pop into the Cuculouche for dinner one time!!! It won't disappoint :) !

Tres Amigos.. Surprising in many ways!…read more After having found myself eating at the aforementioned restaurant for the first time today, I think it's safe to say I was pleased with both food and service. Speaking out of the mouth of a tex-mex food aficionado, choosing this restaurant was surely a safe bet. For starters I went with some plain Nachos, which were quite crispy, as you'd expect. The flaming hot sauce was hearty, bold and quite surely capable of demolishing even the stiffest constipation. The Pechuga de Pollo Fajitas were sensational, although I expected a little more quantity, considering the cost of CHF 28.50. The chicken was cooked beautifully, seasoned to perfection, and tore through me with the awesome fury of the horseman of the apocalypse. Bravo. Overall the meal was spicy enough to incinerate most of what once were my intestines. My morning was an unforgettable thrill ride! Service was quick, fresh warm tortillas were delivered without having to ask and the coffee was decent. 3 Stars for the truly delicious food and unimpeachable service, minus two stars for the prices and for turning me into a human flamethrower.
