Then another Portuguese local recommended this place. We didn't come during peak lunch hour, but the place was still rather busy. This place is not exact on the waterfront, separated from it by a wide street, though the view is quite open. We are glad the menu is available in English and the waiter is also fluent in English. We ordered a sole, and a risotto. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dinner, the quality of seafood is very good, and the price very reasonable. There are lots of seafood restaurants lining the street and as it was our first time eating here we don't know how it measures up to its neighbors, but it was definitely a pleasure experience.

Since he is a local, he highly recommended that we order the Fried Squid meal. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly employee that led us to a table within the outdoor seating area. After providing us with menus, we ordered one fried squid meal and two glasses of the Periquita Rosé. 10 minutes later our meal arrived at our table. The fried squid was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly fried so that the exterior of the squid was crispy (not dry), and the inside was surprisingly juicy. The pairing of fries with the squid was so delightful that we ordered a second fried squid meal to share amongst ourselves. The Periquita Rosé was just ok in our opinions. However, my wife and I are not fans of Rosé, we merely tried it because our tour guide recommended it. We ended up ordering a round of the Planalto dry white wine, which was better in our opinions. If the fried squid meal was an accurate depiction of how the other meals on their menu taste, I'm disappointed that we couldn't have revisited this restaurant at least two more times. I HIGHLY recommended this restaurant to any seafood lover!

This was our first official meal in Lisbon, a reservation for 9:45 pm dinner on a Wednesday, and it was a great introduction to Portuguese food. The street at the entrance was empty and quiet, and there weren't many people inside, presumably because it was late. Service was excellent, they were very nice, told us to take our time despite our late reservation. Pumpkin soup was the appetizer, and it was delicious. Creamy and hearty but somehow not heavy, with some tomato and meaty flavor that went well with the sweet pumpkin. Comes with some seeds and bread that you can dip the soup with. 5/5 Octopus-comes with some green peppers, quinoa, and a tomato paste/puree that gives it a light, slightly sweet, slightly spicy taste that went very well with the octopus. This is a great summer dish. Interestingly the thin end of the octopus was not that crispy, maybe that was the intention, but the entire tentacle taste and texture was pretty homogenized. 4.5/5 Risotto- also has pumpkin, but more savory with cheese and butter, topped with leek and I belive has mushrooms. Not sure how they're getting away with using heavy ingredients coming together to become a light dish, but they're pulling it off perfectly. Price was also very reasonable. We did get asked about tip, which not all restaurants in Lisbon do, but we felt tip was deserving at this establishment.

Best I've ever had and served it in a creative way. Service was attentive and polite and generous. I wanted to eat there every night but as a tourist I simply couldn't repeat. I wanted to return. I hope they succeed they are special.
