Já devíamos ter percebido que um lugar que quer ser tudo, acaba pecando em alguns aspectos... O chopp que pedimos estava morno... Não havia quase nenhuma das opções de cervejas do cardápio, apenas a mais cara. Resolvemos pedir uma pizza e uma hora depois nenhuma notícia. Questionamos o garçom e ele voltou com a informação de que ainda iria demorar muito! Resolvemos cancelar o pedido e uma garçonete veio explicar que os pedidos estavam demorando e que toda a equipe foi orientada a avisar os clientes antes, o que não foi feito. O mais curioso é que quando fomos reclamar com o garçom, dizendo que se a casa não tinha condições de atender, deveria limitar a entrada, ele concordou e riu, deixando evidente a falta de profissionalismo dele e do local. Não aconselho nem o café nem o almoço nem o jantar do Café do Canal!

My wife had shrimp tossed in pasta, and I had a crusted filet of fish over risotto, and both were excellent. Service is prompt and cordial. Very little English spoken, but the menus have English translations. Wine & beer served. Of the two (this one and Bartholomeu), we preferred the latter -- but if you have two nights in town I would definitely suggest trying them both; can't go wrong with either one. Brazilians dine relatively late, so if you arrive at either one in the 6:00-to-7:00 range there is no need for reservations.

We then had some cheese balls as another appetizer, and then the crusted fish and squid risotto for dinner all of which was excellent. The service was top notch and we felt that it was a meal that merited a tip beyond the usual 10%. Highly creative and delicious meal that we strongly recommend. Also very cute restaurant and decor.
