You can imagine I went there many times--but for good reason! They are FAST (even when they're ultra busy). The food is phenomenal--everything from the tapas to main entrees, to the desserts. The portions are large and prices very fairly. My personal favorite was the mussels in the tomato sauce. Ask for bread to soak up the rest of that sauce! Even glasses of wine--oh man, it was good. The first evening we ordered the sea bass, cooked mallorcan style. The menu said it was for two people, but the dish would easily be enough for three persons. Non the least it was amazing! Second day we ordered paella. For me, this was the first time I eat paella in Spain (have tried it once in Norway, which hardly counts..) and in my opinion it was truly incredible here at the bodega! The waiter recommended a local red wine, Macia Batle from 2010 and it suited perfectly to the paella. The third and last day we ordered tapas. Potatoes with some sort of sauce on, meatballs, garlic shrimps, serrano ham, chorizos and chicken croquettes. If I would remove one dish it would be the chicken. It was okay, but that's all. The serrano ham was heavenly! They have a lot of them air drying in the ceiling in the restaurant and the rest of the interior makes the visit feel like you truly are in Spain, and not in a heavy trafficked tourist village. We got a local red vine to the tapas as well, but I can't remember the name of it. But it was spot on to the tapas, as the wine we got to the paella were. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The restaurant is located right on the boardwalk and looks very nice inside and out with all of the lights. There are tables inside and outside on the patio. There was a guitar player/singer performing at the time of our visit; very entertaining. We tried several items including the beef pasta, two different pizza, and a caprese salad. All of the items were fresh and tasted delicious. They also had a good selection of Spanish beers and wines. Regarding the service, it was very good. If we ever return to Alcudia, we will certainly visit again.

We were struggling to find a restaurant that didn't have tourist food (i.e. I don't typically think pizza and sushi when I think Spain). Enter "the wine side" where we dined among locals. We made friends with a lovely German couple and had a round of drinks outside at one of the bar tables while waiting for a table. Food was on point and we tried some great glasses of wine. The owner was also a delight, as was our server in making us awesome recommendations and in fitting us in for a late dinner on a crowded night. Really appreciated how thoughtful they were. The owner ran about taking care of all sorts of tasks, seating people, cleaning up, but took the time to engage and sometimes even pull up a chair next to each patron. Truly a great businessman making a memorable experience for the customers. Great wine selections and even (my new favorite) Vermut!
