Thus we ordered the ham, sausage and cheese platter for 1, their mixed seafood paella, which we soon found out could only be bought in portions of at least 2 people, and a small fried fish on the side. The platter was delicious. It met the expected standards we had of the restaurant, given the lovely interior decor, with ham hanging inside the windows of the restaurant. The fish wasn't too bad. The paella on the other hand was unfortunately a disappointment. Though served nicely and with a generous portion (we ordered for 2 people but it was more than enough for the three of us), the paella was wayyyy too salty. We ended up only eating bits of the seafood inside the paella. What a pity! The colour was very off as well. It was advertised as the typical red tomato-base-looking colour, however, it was served rather brown in colour. We tried to look pass it, but unfortunately the first bite didn't erase our first impression. They also seemed quite understaffed to be honest, thus the lad serving us seemed to be having one of those off days where there was just too much demand. I guess the service took away our wanting to stay for a couple of hours. They do, however, serve generous portions. The platter for 1 was a good enough starter for 4 people I'd say! And very reasonably priced. We paid 45 euros in total.
Ham, sausage and cheese platter for 1. Generous portion size! Approx 13 euros

The steak is served on a hot stone with 3 homemade sauces , peppercorn , whisky gravy and chimichurri. I had the Bone-in rib eye. I ate EVERY MORSEL!!! The best steak I've ever had - grilled perfectly medium rare , not salty and tender. The grilled vegetables side were good too , very fresh . And the added bonus was the INCREDIBLE Sangria. Refreshing and strong. Sooooo good ! The nostalgia hanging around from the owners memorabilia is also great and fun to peruse . If you travel to Barcelona - add this to your list of excellent restaurants to try . Everyone was friendly and welcoming!

Slowly they started hauling folks in about a dozen at a time. We got in our seats by about 715. I ordered the mix meats plate, for one with a baked potato... let me just say that there is no way one person can eat that much meat. I'd say the amount of meats on that plate is good for three to share. There were two steak cuts, one beef rib, one sausage and one slab of pork ribs. I only tried two of the steak cuts on my plate. The flank cut was tasty but too chewy and the beef rib was too red for me. The meats tasted good, but the meat sauce they give you makes them better (oil, onions, peppers and herbs). If you like your meat pink which for me is usually medium you should definitely order medium-well because their medium is pretty red. Baked potato was smothered with garlic and herbs and was so smooth and fluffy. Sangria wasn't bad either. It's a pretty nice place and you get a whole lot of food that's for sure. Enjoy.
