This nice restaurant is located in the old town of Las Palmas. It was shown to us group of tourists…read moreby a town guide, because the restaurant has an old and nice court yard. So you can sit outside if you want. I liked the ambiance so good , I decided to have lunch there after the tour. I ordered as main course the Codfish with passion fruit coulis on a season vegetables bed. I accompanied the meal with a nice glass of red wine. The dish was sheer poetry. The fresh fish was steamed and tasted great. The passion fruit coulis gave the bites a sweet note. The vegetables were all crunchy and contributed to an unforgettable food experience. I finished with the dessert of Three-way milk cake with dry fruit mix and toasted coconut. The dessert was a layer of cake and fruits at the bottom, topped what I can only describe as condensed whipped cream. It was so good it was gone in a blink of an eye. This would be for sure one of my regular restaurants to visit, if I would live in Las Palmas.

When you first walk into the restaurant, it feels like you wanted into a traditional Spanish home. We had a table tucked away on the corner of the patio area in the centre of the restaurant. It's lovely to feel like you're sitting outside without the pedestrian traffic. For 4 people, we ordered a couple of simple starters - mixed salad, papas arrugadas (wrinkly potatoes with red mojo), and revuelto (scrambled egg, mushroom and shrimp). Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. Also to start you have a roll of warm bread. For mains most of us ordered the cod pil pil - which is what they are known for - the pil pil is a mild garlic sauce and a side of vegetables (which I've been told most likely from the potaje!). It was delicious - and much bigger portion than expected. Overall for the price and quality of the dining experience, definitely one of the top places to eat in Las Palmas.
