We continued down to the coast where we found an area with ample parking, and after a quick walk around we decided on Os Remos. Feeling adventurous, we opted to "be surprised" by our host. We had an out-of-this-world dinner as a result. We shared a wonderful bottle of Portuguese red wine, the equivalent of a caprese salad, and a couple of margarita pizzas. Everything was super fresh and tasty. The salad was big enough for two to share.... and contained lots of lettuce and tomatoes and mozzarella cheese with a balsamic drizzle. The pizza had a wonderful toothsome crust that was slightly charred from being baked in a brick oven. It had the perfect sauce to cheese to basil balance. It was so wonderful to enjoy the taste of Italy while traveling through Portugal.
