The menu did not have anything to offer but pizza, but there is pretty much every kind of pizza you can think of on it and it tastes sooooooo good! I honestly did not know, pizza can be that tasty. Very thin pizza base and crust, crispy stone-oven-baked pizza with fresh ingredients on it prepared right in front of you in the oven. It's not fat, it's not wet, it is just the right kind of perfect all around ;) We had a reservation for a table and that was the right thing to do, cause people kept coming, but there were no free tables all through our stay at the restaurant. It is perfect place for a nice evening with a group of friends or family. It is not expansive, but yes in Berlin you can find cheaper and much cheaper pizza but not in this quality. So you have an idea of the price range: Mine was 33 cm, 10 EUR. The prices go from 8-14 for a normal size, all the usual suspects cost around 10. The bigger once, family size et al are naturally more expensive.

The pizza comes in 3 sizes, normal, huge and massive (they are more tastefully named on their menu). I was feeling hungry so I bought a huge one, the waitress wished me luck. I guess she thought I would struggle hehehe, eh no. I did however struggle with numerous wasps trying to get some before I could polish it all off myself. The restaurant was clean and the staff were civil (I chose that word carefully), The Pizza was ok, the base was too bland for my taste though. It has a decent reputation in Spandau which does count for something but I suppose there are not that many Pizza restaurants in such a small town.

Beim Eintreffen wurden wir von ihr weder begrüßt noch freundlich behandelt. Die Bestellung wurde widerwillig aufgenommen, Besteck und Getränke wurden wortwörtlich auf den Tisch "geschmissen". Statt des bestellten Rhabarberschorle brachte sie ein Apfelschorle. Als mein Freund sie freundlich darauf hinwies, reagierte sie völlig überzogen, brachte das richtige Getränk und knallte es uns vor die Nase. Auf unseren Hinweis, dass dies kein angemessener Umgang mit Gästen sei, beschuldigte sie meinen Freund, sie wie eine "Sklavin" zu behandeln - was absolut nicht der Fall war. Danach entfernte sie sich und rief auf Italienisch "Stronzi di merda!" (übersetzt: "Scheiß-Arschlöcher!"). Unglücklicherweise für sie bin ich Italiener und habe jedes Wort verstanden. Ich habe sofort das Gespräch mit dem Chef gesucht. Die Kellnerin gab ihr Verhalten sogar zu und imitierte meinen Freund auf übertriebene und bösartige Weise. Der Chef war sichtlich beschämt und hat sich mehrfach im Namen des Hauses entschuldigt. Zu unserem Erstaunen kommentierte die Kellnerin die Situation anschließend auch noch lautstark gegenüber anderen Gästen (die die Situation völlig missverstanden, da sie kein Italienisch verstehen konnten). Der Chef hat unsere Rechnung storniert, um sich zu entschuldigen - dafür gebührt ihm Respekt. Fazit: Eine wunderschöne Lage und ein freundlicher Chef können leider nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass wir von dieser Kellnerin auf eine Art und Weise behandelt wurden, die absolut respektlos und inakzeptabel ist.

Unfortunately not only food but service and people make the place... and if it feels fake - that's not how you "act" good service ...

Leider hat uns das Essen das erste Mal nicht geschmeckt. Man hätte es wissen können dass Pizza mit Belag Vitello Tonato nicht richtig zusammen passt. Auch die Scampi waren nicht gewürzt und schmeckten langweilig. Wir hofften dieses Mal würden wir nicht enttäuscht. Leider aber ja. Schwarze Nudeln mit Flusskrebsen, Dorade, Basilikum Pesto und Meeresalgensalat, da läuft ja das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Das ganze war ein Misch- Masch. Alles schmeckte nach dem sehr öligen Pesto. Die Pizza mit frischen Champignons war zu trocken.

Das sei nicht, dass die Pizza klein war, der Kellner, hat gefragt, ob die Pizza klein gemacht sollte für die Kleinen, oder normal. Nach Verzögerung, haben wir normal gesagt, Gott sei Dank, denn der kleine hat alles aufgegessen!! Pacherri für die Frau war ganz zu Frieden, und Pasta für mich auch, der nicht immer so gerne Nudelgerichte bestellt, denn die Italienische Frau kocht das so oft, war einfach köstlich! Too salty, nothing special and nothing close to what I know comes out of many Italian places here. I've had better in a corporate chain. Bruschetta was good, not the best but better than many. Caprese was quite good - even the tomatoes, which makes the above all the more bothersome. Very good service and vibe. Should have gone the pasta route - saw two dishes & both looked A+.
