The surroundings are fantastic with a majestetic view - you simply can't stay here without visiting the viewpoint "Kings view" (only ~1,5 km walk through the forest). The food served are delicious, being based on local foodproduction, and their oliveoil (ok....not that local based!) is the best EVER!! The hour long line outside, the "to cool for the world" crowd and the expensive drinks! At some level I want to say that I hate these kind of places but it would be a lie. There is something about drinking outside on top of a building not caring about anything but what is in front of you at that moment. I am a total sucker for it. The music and the dancing I don't really care for, but at the same time after a couple of drinks who doesn't like to shake their butt on the dance floor. The view, the fresh air and a good drink is all I need. A lot of people say the service here is bad, however I must say I think they are pretty nice. Our bartender paid attention to us, he mixed amazing drinks and was polite. What more can you ask for at a crowded bar. If you are one of those people yelling at your bartender, just stop, he will not give you good service! Over all Stratos is an enjoyable place. Just get there early to avoid the lines, get your name on some sort of guest list (I believe they have one) or just be prepared to stand in line. That being said most places around Youngstorget do have lines so I don't understand the big fuss about it. Probably never gonna be a regular but definitely recommend!

Rocking reindeer!!…read more I was here yesterday. This is the first time I have ever had reindeer. I love version and wild game. The meat was tender and moist. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. We came here on a company function and they had no problem taking care of us. Our glasses were never empty, and our service was great!

From the outside it looked no different than any other harbor front eatery, but once inside we were immediately taken by the warm and cozy feel of the restaurant. With a name such as Fishland we obviously opted for fish. My friend took the salmon in butter based jus and I went for the monkfish in a lobster sauce with vegetables and jacket potatoes. Both pieces of fish were moist and cooked perfectly, a sheer delight. Accompaniments were spot on too, with the asparagus, broad beans and broccoli just right with a delicate crunch to them. All in all it was very nice, and considering the alternatives in the area I would recommend trying this one, though it is a tad more expensive.
