This Restore Habitat for Humanity store is a great service and charitable organization. I would definitely donate any of my unused furniture to this organization. I like to browse and treasure hunt in these stores. Also, I can sometimes find cheaper used construction items for personal house and garden projects I'm working on. The store set up is a bit different from other Habitat for Humanity Restores I've visited. There are more items like books, clothes and electronic goods. So, whatever you are doing around the house and garden, always pay a visit to this store. You might find something you can use. read more

The Salvation Army has changed so much from what it use to be. Now it is like any other…read moreorganization that looks out for itself and people second. That is not the way it was evan 25 years ago. Check the history and mandate...it was all about people. I have had the same experience as the lady who left disappointed. When people come to you with a need to help others and instead of helping them you send them away......what a sad testimony indeed! I am sure the founder Booth would be turning in his grave if that were possible.
