They took a credit card number and pre-charged that appt. I was told if I cancelled it more than 24 hours in advance it would be refunded. I called to cancel with 4 days notice and was argued with over getting a refund. The office manager grilled me on why I was cancelling and argued about giving me a refund. It was extremely rude and invasive. She finally agreed to a refund "as a courtesy". Needless to say, I'll never, ever book an appointment with this snobby, "we're only for rich people" spa! They can keep their services, there are plenty of other spas around that don't treat people like that!!

I am pregnant and my skin has been super dry this summer. I'm also in my mid 30s and need to take extra good care of my skin. My skin was super hydrated and visibly looked better right away. She also took care of some much needed extractions. A week later my skin is so happy. The facility is clean and has several treatment rooms. It is a medspa so they offer a variety of services like Botox. I am so happy I found Vitalize. I have been to a few other places in Rochester for facials since my move from the West Coast and had not found the right facility and esthetician. Now I have.

False advertisement! They advertise for services which they do not even provide…read more They were advertising for a Botox special. So I called them up. The receptionist booked me for Botox and took my cc info. When I went there for my appointment, the doctor said she doesn't have any Botox and only offer dysport or xeomin. These are cheaper alternatives to me and I didn't want them when I booked a Botox appointment. They seem to pull a bait and switch on customers when you are there and maybe some people are like well I am already here so I will just take the dysport or xeomin. The front desk woman said they basically promote as Botox because she assumed people are only familiar with that brand, only to inform you much later at your appointment that they don't even use Botox. This is very shady. I consider this a bad business and to avoid them at all costs! When it comes down to it, an injection place that doesn't offer the mainstay of Botox is very odd! So watch out friends! They will waste your time with frozen smiles on their faces, which in and of itself is very disturbing!

I got up, got my two toddlers up, my wife and I took time off of work to go from Greece to the location in Penfield. We got there 5 minutes before they opened at 9am so we sat on the benches in the hallway. At 9:40am, we were still sitting on those benches. Trying to entertain or girls and wondering why no one was even there. We called and emailed but did not get a response until we were almost home at almost 10am. We were told that there must be a problem with the booking system and to call or stop by at 11am after they got done with a meeting and they can figure something out. Not..."I'm sorry let me get down there now." Nevermind that the "system" sent me an email confirming my appointment for 9am. Even if there was an error with the system and they weren't notified that I booked an appointment...they advertise that they are open at 9am and accept walk-ins! So no one was going to be there until 11?? Then why say you are open at 9am!??!?! I am so disappointed in this experience. Even more so because this is the only place (that I know of) in Rochester that does cryotherapy. I guess I will be waiting for someone else to offer this service because obviously this establishment cannot be trusted to show up for a booked appointment OR to be open when they advertise they will be open.

The studio is clean, and the rooms are large, relaxing and beautifully decorated. I gave up and ask led for my money back. I was offered my money back on the gift certificates. I was told to bring them and proof of purchase. When I showed up Diane was very short and hostile. I returned every gift certificate (bonus ones ones as well) from origanl purchase. I learned Diane misrepresented her self as a massage therapist. She does not infact hold that license and feels she learned enough that she can do it. Now they refuse to refund. They have stolen my money. Don't put your self in harms way and injur your body or wallet. ​

First of all, I've been here once and was referred by the Legends radio station for their "$29…read morefirst appointment" gimmick. The $29 covers an examination, a brief (but in depth) massage chair session and some minor adjustments. Actual adjustments, aka cracking your back like a glowstick is $35. I was not expecting to spend more than $29 at my first visit so I was a little off-put, and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. Their program, on the other hand, seems very reasonable, $99 a month for at least 6 months (with early termination fees if applicable) for 4 sessions a month, or $35 for any adjustment. They do not take insurance but keep their prices competitive and low. They use a lot of technology at this practice, including laser and cryotherapy. Might be your thing, might not be. Doctor seemed plenty knowledgeable and I was even sent home with a sheet displaying various stretching exercises.
