I should do it somewhat, to save the environment (or what's left of it) or whatever noble cause that people use in the name of second-hand shopping. Second hand shopping can be fun, for anything that it's not clothing imho. Somehow I have THAT weird feeling that I don't want to wear clothing that's been worn by other people no matter how many times you've washed it or how designer and expensive it was before. Blame my childhood with my three older sisters passing clothes to me, perhaps. Furnitures, knicks knacks, kitchen stuff - on the other hand - I love them second hand. There's some vintage quality to it and some stuff that you would never find them again at most shops It is with sadness that I must say that this shop is not for me since it stocks mostly clothing. Don't get me wrong, they have HUGE clothing selection and some pretty good ones too. Female on the top floor, male on the ground floor. With the location being on the side street of main shopping street Spitalerstrasse, it's perfect. but then again, it's not something for me, so adios second hand shop!

Although the 100 percent cotton cardigan took a lot of combing through the shops, we finally located it in Esprit. It was on sale to boot, plus had the right size and colour, and the shop assistant was kind enough to try it for us as she was of the same height and build as the person we had wanted to buy it for. We spent a comfortable and fruitful couple of hours. It's nice to know that there's such a great one stop shop place like the Phoenix center in Harburg.

There's also a U-Bahn Überseequartier Station inside this complex. We received samples of German chocolate as we walked through the cruise center. It was a great welcome! The shopping mall is still very new. It opened in April 2025. It's a mix of inside and outside spaces which makes it perfect for all kinds of weather. You'll notice that it's a Westfield right away when you look up at the cube glass skylights that let in all that sunlight. The architecture here is even more stunning since it's open to the Elbe River. There's a waterfront on that side where you can see the ships coming and going. It's beautiful! As you enter, you'll notice that there are at least 3 levels of shopping within the building. The interactive map makes it look like 4 with a basement level. See the map below: https://www.westfield.com/en/germany/hamburg/map-of-the-centre It's a great mix of high-end and affordable shopping. There's a Läderach and a Lakrids by Bülow here. There's a souvenir shop for travelers. You may need to buy more luggage if you plan to make it a shore excursion. It's all very tempting. The ground 0 level is where you'll see even more shops and restaurants during an outdoor stroll of Überseeboulevard. There's even a separate food court (called "The Kitchen") that can be accessed by escalator from this main Boulevard. We decided to have lunch at Cardamom Progressive Indian Dining which is in the outside portion of the complex. What a great experience! There are restaurants here that will suit all tastes, but I didn't see any German ones. I think that was the only thing missing. Although, it may be named Overseas Boulevard for a reason. There are many German options as you walk away from the shopping center as well as many attractions. It's all very walkable. It's just an exciting and happening place to be in HafenCity.
