The exam was thorough and they both really took the time to ask me questions and exam be through different exercises and stretches. I completed the exercises they suggested and I also had dry needling done. I didn't expect it to be like it was. The needle activated your muscles trigger points and loosens up the muscles. I was surprised by the muscle reactions to this needling. It was sore but I think it helped a lot. They gave me print outs of my at home exercises too. I had a total knee replacement in Sept 2024, and began pt at a clinic style physical therapy center…read morethat I had gone to previously for injuries and surgeries. While having a pt who worked with 2 to 3 patients at a time worked great for me previously, I was not making progress bending or straightening my knee. I ended up having 3 manipulations and was scheduled for a 2nd surgery to put in a smaller knee. I was in tremendous pain and completely stressed out because of my limited ability and lack of improvement. My daughter started doing research and found Focus Physical Therapy and made an appt for me. With only a slight bit of hope, we met with Renee. After discussing my history and her assessing my knee and leg, she said she could help me. And she did. I now have full use of my leg and can bend to 120 and can straighten my leg to a 3 or 4 (my ortho dr was hoping I could get to 95 or 100 degrees). Since my knee, I had surgery on my shoulder (bicep and 2 rotator cuff tears). Of course I went back to Focus Physical Therapy. I am almost at my goal and now have full use of my shoulder- without pain. I am so grateful to Renee and the wonderful folks at Focus. My life is totally different than what it would have been, if we hadn't made that call. They are the best!

I was finally able to make it out to one of their locations and get a free consultation. It was so helpful because they learned more about me. They understood who I was. They were able to provide, good therapy in the space as well as exercises and videos that I've continued to use moving forward. I signed up for a five session package with Renee who is an incredible physical therapist and an incredible human. I really enjoyed our conversations and her willingness to help. She did dry needling for me which really helped relieve the pain and discomfort. It was truly a game changer. I also really appreciated that every time I was shown an exercise I was sent a video that was personal for me to help with my discomfort. It has truly helped me better my health and my posture and I'm so thankful for Focus PT.
