Throughout my career, I have served as a contract recruiter, a recruiter for staffing agencies as well as an in-house recruiter for two prominent tech companies. I have read more resumes than I care to admit, many are good, some not so good (that is being kind). Going back the last several years, applicant tracking systems (ATS) have been the dominant force in the industry. If your resume is not compliant for the scanner, it is a real concern, especially if the candidate is relying on the job boards. I worked with Allan recently during a job search that I had to conduct after getting laid off (like so many others). I needed another set of trained eyes to help me; not a colleague, family member, or neighbor but someone who gets paid to write resumes for a living. What Allan offers Is comprehensive. Custom resumes (not written by a robot) and LinkedIn profiles that are not a copy and paste of the resume. He has a methodology based on marketing (after all, resumes are marketing documents), ATS best practices and , equally as important, common sense. This is the 2nd time I have used Allan Brown within the last 5 years. He created a resume and cover letter for me. I moved from the Bay Area to Utah back in 2022 due to family. When I arrived in Utah, I was still employed remotely by the company I worked for in California.
