Paraxut welcome us with open arms and great hospitality (ok, we had to wait, but the local guys could have just closed as per the official opening hours). The restaurant is nice and simple. It was easily the best restaurant experience that we have had in Portugal yet. We both ordered the Peregrino special which included soup, bread with local butter and sardine spread, wine, a main dish of either fish or meet, and a dessert of your choice for 12.50€. The sole waiter (who is also the owner) was friendly and personable as he was taking care of many other customers. Given the chance, we would definitely return!
