This is by far my favourite secondhand shop in Umeå. It's big, has great variety of items that won't cost the earth. The staff is lovely (I've been twice this week and both times they complimented either on our choice of purchases or our outfits ;)) They don't have many clothes but do have a great textiles section with beautiful folk placemats and embroidered wall hangings. They're also involved in making new funky products from donated goods and one thing that always strikes me when I visit is the endless lengths of knitted scarves which hang from the ceiling (knitted by customers from donated wool remnants). Very large Thrift Store and Second Hand Shop. Deals are usually typical of a good second hand shop and sometimes deals can be very very good, depending on what you are after. Very small clothing selection. Good for kitchen items, furniture, and house hold accessories. Lots of bikes and sporting equipment as well. I think the best deals are in the tools and household goods and hardware. They sell cheap tools, and little construction bits, like door hinges and screws. Which is nice, because those things are hard to find in Umeå. read more
