Tammy has been my nail tech for almost 4 years now and she constantly does a meticulous job! She has an excellent eye for shape, also making sure the acrylic doesn't get too close to my cuticles (preventing that "lip" forming when it goes out). She's also super sweet and patient. For someone who has struggled with being a life-long nail biter, it's really important to me to make sure everything feels smooth so I am less likely to pick at my nails or try to "fix" them myself. It is so important for my self esteem that hands look nice. That being said, she never has scolded me or lectured me about my nails when I come in for a fill or fix. She simply leaves me feeling refreshed because my hands look good! She's very fast also (fill in less than 45 mins)! Keep in mind, she books up quickly. ***I've NEVER had any infections from going to this salon, so I'm not sure what other reviews are talking about. In fact, she's very knowledgeable. I know I am very picky with nail salons but it's important in order to avoid infections and things. This place was not clean. I sat down and there was acrylic powder everywhere (I don't get acrylic). Looked like the same tools were being used over and over again. The gel lights had polish all over them. The salon itself is just back to back clients and nothing is cleaned in between clients. My nails were a 2/5. The color is cute but the woman doing my nails went so fast and not in a good way. She also said maybe two words to me the entire time. Just got finished with a speed race to see how quickly you can finish a pedicure. Zero communication and let's see how fast we can complete a pedicure. 30 minutes from the time I checked in till walking out the door. Nails not even completely dry and a thick top coat put on. Still wavy not even smooth toes. Never ever again will I go to this place. I think they wanted me to do the toxic gel pedicure so they could make more money. $33 dollar 30 minute pedicure isn't what I was looking for. It is busy so you need to book an appointment (at least a few days in advance, depending on the season/time of day) and they do require a credit card on file to hold your appointment, which will be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or no-show. I appreciate how up-front they are while making your appointment, they ask the nature of the service you want so they are prepared when you arrive (they ask if you have any existing gel that needs removal, if you plan to get designs, etc.) which probably helps them get you the best nail tech for what you are wanting and make sure appointments are running on time. I had a hard gel overlay on my natural long nails and it came out even better than I hoped! The tech did an amazing job shaping my nails exactly how I wanted, and smoothing out and tapering the gel at the cuticle so it grows out more natural looking. It's been five weeks and since I had them done and so far, no peeling or chipping! I will definitely be back! read more

Ladies avoid this place. I missed an appointment because I ended up having a stroke. On my next appointment, I showed the receptionist my paperwork from the hospital and they still charged me 100% for the missed appointment. I went ahead and I paid it. But honestly, never sat well with me. I went on Instagram made an appointment never got confirmation. Sent them a text message. They said they couldn't find my appointment that I had scheduled. So the appointment that I wanted was already gone so I went ahead and made another appointment at a different time. This week I went on Instagram made another appointment again never got confirmation. I text him on the number that I had no response. Finally two days later they respond and said they never saw that. I tried to make an appointment on Instagram through their booked site. Told them that I was disappointed, and there had seem to be a lot going on with them. They sent me a very long message, telling me in the future that I needed to make an appointment two weeks in advance that they are just so busy. I don't know about you ladies, but when I decide that I want my nails done two or three days is probably the most notice I'm gonna give and they informed me in the future. It needed to be two weeks. Needless to say will not be returning and I let them know and honestly they didn't seem to care. COMPLETELY obsessed with this amazing salon!! It's very spacious especiallyyy compared to their former location (it's at least triple the size) so even when it's busy it doesn't feel crowded. Everything looks and feels so fresh, sleek, and luxurious. It has an incredible aesthetic and is very true to the title of "lounge" as it's a very relaxing environment to be in. You can tell the owners really care about every single detail from the lighting to music to cleanliness. Everyone is amazing here be it the lovely folks at the counter to the talented techs. Shockingly bad customer service from the moment I placed my appointment booking. They had not contacted me once, but called me the day of and said she had been trying to get ahold of me? No missed calls/texts from them. They then called later and asked to delay my appointment to which I said no problem. When I arrived, the nail tech shook her head and was angry with me that my nails were difficult to take off. I had accidentally booked the wrong service and asked if it was possible to change to which the tech and manager got upset and unnecessarily rude saying "she keeps changing her mind!" Tried this place out twice as I'm new to the area and looking for a salon to go to regularly. The website was difficult to navigate causing miscommunication with the booking both times I scheduled an appointment. The first time I came the staff was friendly enough, but the way the nail tech did my nails was so damaging. They filed the "polish" off but never stopped at the polish, filing all the way to my nail bed. After leaving, my nails were the most brittle and damaged they've ever been, and VERY PAINFUL. I scheduled a second time because I thought it might be nice to work with the same tech, as she explained she was new I thought maybe this could be a teachable moment and we could grow as a client-tech team. When I explained the issues I had with my nails the tech seemed dismissive and like it was my fault for even coming to that salon. And as she removed the gel she put on two weeks prior, she further filed my nail beds causing me to wince in pain. When I told her it was so painful she said "I can't see the nailbed" completely dismissing that I was in tears from the pain. While removing the gel, the tech used some jelly like polish remover that got on my skin and gave me a chemical burn. I tried removing the solution by wiping my hand on the towel but it continued to burn and now my thumb has a chemical burn mark as well. After finally removing the gel I explained that I was in a lot of pain and didn't feel comfortable continuing the nail process. The tech seemed really mad, went to the manager and they charged me extra for not wanting the nails filed with the machine, and rather, used hand tools to safely remove the gel without adding too much more damage or removing more of the nail. As someone who works with their hands, I've had to take time off and will have to coming up due to the fact I cannot use my fingertips currently due to the damage. The shop did not seem to care at all about the quality of service they were providing or that a client was leaving in tears. I don't typically leave bad reviews as I've worked in customer service and know it's usually just something weird that makes a bad experience, but two awful experiences back to back with now VERY damaged nails, and staff that didn't care about their customers, I didn't know what else to do other than warn others to STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SALON!!!!!! read more

So I've been here twice and both days I've experienced something that I was unhappy with. Day one : I called prior to make an appointment for a manicure pedicure (gel) when I arrived I got seated but the lady that was doing the gel manicure told me she didn't have time for French tip which is what I wanted. That's why I had the appointment so I can get what I want but apparently that's not how it works here. I ended up doing some kind of glitter tip instead. Also I was not aware that it was five dollars extra per hand if you get more than one color on your nails. In my case, it was clear and glitter at the tips. Day two: I did not make an appointment. I walked in instead. Seated within five minutes. I wanted gel white nails. I got gel white nails, but, the lady offered me some kind of More natural white rather than the pop white that I wanted. I agreed, but I did not know that it was transparent. They did not apply the code correctly or even on all nails. Both of these times there has been older ladies working on my nails . This place is unprofessional. At my first visit, I had an appointment with Kim. When I arrived on time, she had already taken a customer. I asked the manager/owner how long would I be waiting. She said 15 min. I was fine with that. However, I ended up waiting 35 min. When Kim was ready for me she didn't apologize nor did she acknowledge me. I didn't complain to her. In fact, I was polite and courteous. I tried to do small talk with her but she wasn't interested to do so. She has no customer service skills. Because she is "good" she thinks she's the only person that knows how to do a manicure and a fill. Fast forward, next appointment 2 weeks later. I made an appointment with the receptionist. An hour later I received a text stating my appointment is cancelled. I called the nail shop and the receptionist said Kim isn't seeing new clients plus she's booked. I was confused because there was a slot open that day that's why I received a text confirmation (pls see pic attached) and I am not a brand new client. I spoke to the manager. The manager explained to me that Kim doesn't want to take me. I asked why. She said that she didn't feel comfortable doing my nails. I didn't understand. I asked her to elaborate. She mentioned that she didn't like that I asked the manager how much longer do I have to wait in my initial visit. The manager said she must respect her employees wishes. I said that's fine but also it's not a valid reason. I did not bring up anything to Kim that day. Like any normal person that has an appointment would ask after 15 min how much longer am I waiting for. It ended up to be 35 min. What if I was on a lunch break? There was no sense of urgency. I will never go back here. There are several awesome nail salons. I also never experienced such negative treatment in my life from a nail salon. I'm not sure if Kim is racist towards me. All I know that she is unprofessional and unfriendly. Never seen such awful service at a nail salon. The manager/owner needs to coach and train her to have some customer service standards. read more

Honestly one of the most difficult nail salons I've ever been too and I'm honestly trying here. I've lived in this area for years and it's always a pain trying to get an appointment here that works with MY schedule. I like getting my manicure and pedicure done all in the same place but that's not always possible. I'm particular about my nails since I usually have a design and she may or may not work in a shop that I can get a pedi at the same time... ugh. A pain! So just a pedicure here and I check every once and a while to see if I can get an appointment here. I finally got one! They're always super booked which you would think that's a great thing right? They do such a good job so they're always busy... wrong! I have no idea why it's so difficult to get an appointment here. I get that they're a small shop and during the pandemic they cut their space in half. Ok. That's fine. And luckily they had an appointment that afternoon when I called. I'm sure someone cancelled and they had an opening. What I don't care for is the extreme difficulty of understanding. I feel bad for my girl. She just didn't understand a thing I said which made things very difficult. I just wanted to get a pedicure and relax... this was so frustrating. They have all these colors on the wall (none of which I liked) and on nails on the table. I liked two colors on the nails. I asked not gel, just for my toes. She didn't understand what I wanted. There was another lady that said only colors on the wall. They do not have matching colors.... so the same color in gel and reg polish. Matching colors is nice if you want gel on your nails and the same color in reg polish on your toes... or in my case, liked the colors on the nails. One star because my pedicure was just ok. Let's just say babe might kill me at night cause my pinky toe has a sharp angle to it. The staff seemed friendly and my girl kinda asked along the way if that was ok/what I wanted. She barely said anything to me and didn't understand me the entire time. They don't have massage chairs and not even your typical chairs with the integral foot baths. They bring out a bowl. Not a huge deal, just know what to expect and not to expect here. There are no walk-ins! Parking sucks here. There are spots open up front but only 30 min. Anything I get done is at least an hour.
