Since all the speakers point at the dance floor, you also get the best audio in the whole venue. With about 25 singers, Lori the DJ used only the minimum necessary filler music so the rotation was as quick as it could be. You can expect to sing about 3 songs during the 4-hòur show. The club looks unimpressive from the outside, but inside it's clean, cozy and welcoming to everyone. There's a pool table, keno machines. The bar staff are attentive. Drink prices are on the low end. The restrooms are clean. They come in 3 flavors, male, female, and 2 private, large, unisex restrooms(which are also wheelchair accessible) The dance floor is set up for a great light show. This DJ was extremely rude to us. On our first song he scolded us for putting songs in the queue, which is the point of karaoke. I have no issue with interchanging folks to sing so that it's fair. He made many rude comments when we were on stage. After a few of us performed he said "okay now let's get the energy up on this next song". The song in question was 'you're a mean one Mr. Grinch'. Which I imagine was pretty embarrassing for him. Every other song was him and his friend singing and unfortunately they sounded horrible. I like this bar a lot but I'll never expose myself to a terrible karaoke evening like this again. I really hope auricle finds a karaoke dj who is talented and kind.

For starters, when I saw Evanescence this past July, I had purchased a mobile parking pass, thinking I would be receiving a physical copy in the mail (I did not, nor did I see an option to do so when purchasing a parking pass). When I finally reached the entrance, I had to constantly slow down, roll down my window, and show the mobile pass to the attendants, one of whom got a bit snippy with me. Why mobile parking passes are even an option, I'm not entirely certain, as they are utterly useless while driving in traffic. Other than the parking, there were no issues.

We were lucky to have a parking pass that put us close to the pavillion. The hike down the hill was manageable (I was glad I wore my sneakers!). We had planned to dine in grand form. The dinner options ended up being a hamburger, veggie burger or fried chicken. Eating at a picnic bench suited those food choices. Kudos to the Cleveland Orchestra members who backed up the phenomenal soloist with impeccable precision. What a night!!
