My wife and I both enjoy searching (picking) used, vintage and antique items and are always looking for items that catch our eye. No, we are not hoarders! But we have found some random things that make us happy and on many occasions have made us money when we decided they should go to a new home. We had some time on a rainy Sunday afternoon and decided we would grab something to eat and find the Stokesdale Marketplace. We came here about 1pm. From the road, the building looks like a big warehouse. Pay attention to the directions because it is not immediately accessible from the main road. You need to enter on a side road to access the parking lot. We parked and walked inside. Looking down the walkway, my wife said, "wow, this place is huge!" We proceeded to begin walking through each area strategically so we wouldn't miss anything. We were surprised when we came to their indoor bar and snack area. Today it was closed but we thought it was a good idea. We were impressed they have a nice place to sit and ponder your future purchase or the purchase you just made. It also looked like they even have outdoor seating when the weather is nice. We found a few things for our house and will be back. It will also be a good place to bring out of town family when they visit.
