Everything went well, removing of the previous tile backsplash and the countertops went smoothly. --- The counters were installed the next day and when the new tile came in, the crew taped with painters tape, cardboard down on the floors to protect them, fixe some drywall behind where the tile would be to ensure the tile adhered correctly and did a great job of installing the tile. WOLDE coordinates the previous tile backsplash removal and install of the new tile. (This was important to us as 2 other very good companies did not have their own tile companies and that required us to call the tile companies to coordinate, whereas WOLDE coordinated the counter tops and tile. Price was better than the other 2 estimates we received. (WOLDE, nor the other 2 companies we asked estimates from have their own plumbers and prefers the customer coordinates the plumber. (disconnect plumbing from the sink, then after counter tops where installed, plumber came back next day to reinstall the plumbing. (if you have a Gas stove, make sure the plumber disconnects that too.) We are very happy with WOLDE.

I asked about getting a discount. I was told by the manager "oh I don't know about giving you a discount. I'll have to talk to the front office". Oh they don't think they're gonna be able to give me a discount. Really? How bout you show up Monday and i tell you I want reimbursed. You didn't hold up your end of the bargain! And through absolutely no fault of my own, you don't feel I deserve a discount? Who the hell is actually in charge here? I would go someplace else to get any kind of work done. Totally unprofessional, lack of caring, lack of give a shit!

I received multiple quotes and discussed the project with 3 flooring contractors. Wayne was the most knowledgeable and gave us a fair price. Wayne had excellent communication. I normally get very frustrated with contractors because they change the schedule along the way, don't show up on time, etc. Wayne did none of that, the ultimate professional. For the 2nd project, I didn't even get quotes from other contractors because I trust Wayne and knew he'd do a great job for a fair price. He replaced 1000 square foot of carpet with 3/4" hickory hardwood. We had a 2 week gap between buying our new house and moving out of our old house. Our painting contractor used up 8 days of that time and Wayne's crew came in (into an empty house) and completed the whole project in 1 day. It looks great even 4 years later.
