As…read morethe 1st appt of the day I came 5 minutes early and when I arrived the salon was empty, except for a young lady who seated me. I sat for approximately 15 mins when she returned to tell me my stylist was running late & would be in soon.When the stylist came in, she apologized. She was rather abrupt & seemed impatient. As I was communicating, I felt like I was imposing. Since she had never done my hair before, I explained my preferences & showed her a photo from her work. After the highlight foils were removed, her assistant shampooed my hair & said she was putting on a "Color Blend", I asked her about it and she said she'd get my stylist. The stylist stomped in and just stood there. (I had wanted to know if it was the same as a 'glaze' & to ask if I needed that.) Then she said sternly "I require all my services to have it, it's mandatory." (At that point I had taken out my phone & seen that my streaks were pure white) so I said "OK I see it needs it." She did an about-face and stomped off. The entire appointment went on like this. Stomping up, stomping away. She asked if I wanted bangs and I told her they often don't lay straight. I said "What do you think?" and she answered me with the scissors and cut bangs. If she didn't want to do my hair she could have cancelled, she could have said I'm sorry I'm not feeling well, anything. I wouldn't have know the difference & she would have saved both of us from a miserable two hours & saved me $355.00 & my hair. Why didn't I say anything? She unsnapped that cape so fast, I got the message, & she was right on time for her 11:00 appt. My hair color? The cut? Well let's just say no one is going to ask me who did my hair & she didn't take a photo. I'm not naming her because I don't wish to impact someone's livelihood. Had she been civil, the poor outcome may have been somewhat easier to take. It will take time for my hair to recover, it was just a very strange, unpleasant experience. Who makes an appointment for that?? On the positive side the salon was immaculate & the assistant & the young lady who checked me out when I left were as nice as could be! I'd give them each 5 stars!

As I said, I have been going to Ani for brow shaping and event makeup for years, she did my makeup for my engagement photos and my wedding. Ani's team took such good care of my bridal party, they all looked like they were going to a red carpet event. Now that she has gone out on her own it is on a whole new level. The salon is gorgeous, it would fit in with any salon here in NYC. I have gone to both Ashely and Briana for brows and makeup as well and as they have been trained by Ani and they are just as fabulous too. In her new salon, Ani has just introduced spray tanning and skin care services to her menu. With this long and cold winter my skin had been looking drab and dull and I thought for a facial and peel for $150 I can't loose. My peel was scheduled with Briana and all I have to say is WOW! The facial included an apple stem peel with 2 masks and serums. During the peel I listened to relaxing music and received a killer hand massage. I have had several chemical peels in my day, I guess you could say I am a bit of a connoisseur. This peel is on the lighter side and I have not experienced any peeling, so there is not 1 minute of downtime. No downtime - all results! Being in town from NYC I met with 2 friends for dinner right after my peel. They were raving about how soft my skin felt and how much my skin was glowing. The next day I had brunch with another friend and my skin looked so good I only put concealer on under my eyes and some mascara, my skin was on full display! I had 3 women ask me what foundation I was wearing throughout the day. If that isn't the best compliment, I don't know what is. I will wrap this up, don't walk - RUN to Ani's new location and make an appointment with Ani, Ashley and Briana stat!
