I brought a bunch of clothes in because I'm moving. The chick behind the counter was incredibly rude, to the point where I took my stuff and left--I'd rather give it away. First, when I said I had misunderstood the website about whether they do store credit or cash (their St. Pete location does it differently), she responded with "That's why I asked if you wanted to go over it." A better response would have been "I can see why that would be confusing." Or just nothing. Then, when she said I was only allowed to give one basket full of items and there was a quarter of the basket left, I asked if I could grab a few more items from my car parked right outside, and instead of "Sure," it was, "I don't know how to answer that for you. You would have to make that decision." I'm not sure where the judgment comes from, but Revolve can keep on revolving without me... see y'all at Goodwill. read more

Well, since it is October, it's the season for Halloween and haunted this and haunted that. I came into this store, not for the clothes, but because I read it's a haunted Ybor spot. The people working were super nice. My doggie was with us, so they were all about playing with him. I then conversed with them to see if they had heard about the ghost. It is a little boy who hangs out in the front of the store, throws clothes on the floor, and just comes back and forth and likes to press one of the buttons on the cash register. One of the ladies working knew about it. The other did not. He also likes to go back and forth from this store and Le France. The clothes here are fun. Lots of different styles. Tons of accessories and lots to see. I really like this store. Thanks to the little boy spirit, I learned what was sold here. read more

I have been thrifting and going to placing like this my whole entire life. I LOVE second-hand stores and I'm willing to pay extra for worn unique items. That being said, while we found this store had really cute merchandise, it's really overpriced. The worst part and the reason for the one star is the people working there seem to think they should just stand around not offering one bit of assistance. (I'm talking to you 2 girls who worked on October 5th 2019 around 3pm). My friend said she needed some new sunglasses and found a few she liked in the case and the sales girl just walked away. I said LOUDLY, "We are actually waiting to be helped" but I guess gossip was her main focus. You lost 4 costumers for life. We shouldn't (and won't) beg for help. read more

I knew that making that impossible u-turn was worth the hassle. To be honest, I waked in like 15 minutes before they closed and I literally did not feel rushed; not even slightly. Mind you, I swift through racks at jet speed but nonetheless...I was able to comfortably browse. I ended up buying two shirts for the total amount of $13 and had I been an x-small- I know I would've taken that Versace blazer. They don't showcase garbage. Everything here is beautiful in its own way. The same rack is in the back. Be careful not to snag any items when you're trying them on because the clothes is delicate. They're centrally located alongside the strip on Ybor and I love it. Definitely with checking out. They really have beautiful items for a nominal price. read more

I just walked out of revolve clothing exchange in Ybor city feeling bullied by the woman behind the counter. This employee was incredibly rude and could not help to offer me one bit of advice when I was clearly lacking essential information. She seemed insulted about my inquiry of when I should expect to hear from them. She explained what she wasn't going to do instead of fill me in with information I was so obviously missing - that she was withholding??? If you visit this location do not expect cash as the St Pete location will be the only one that can do that for you. I took all of my things back and went straight to the next consignment shop. To the girl with a ginger mullet behind the counter- I hope your day gets better y hope your interpersonal communication skills improve. P.S. the clothes range from ok to basics. I hate to let out secrets but I'm already diggin' the staff so here ya go! I like the idea of store credit for clothes that are too big for me now. I also like the fact that a lot of the clothes here are edgy, i.e. not boring, and fun! I scored a fantastic Hawaiian shirt in beautiful colors for a ridiculous price. You go once and you must find something that you need to take home for a fair price. The manager, Julie, also makes some very creative jewelry to righteously "accessorize!" Revolve reminds me of some of the great rebuy stores that used to be in Georgetown, D.C. ...'cept this is better! I've only been here once, will continue to shop here, and I am a huge fan! read more

I have exchanged clothes here a couple of times and It usually isn't a big deal, but the last time I went there definitely turned me off for good. I was in Ybor to have lunch with family and dropped a bag of clothes off for store credit. The cashier told me that "there is ONE person ahead of you, but you will be next." I told her that is fine and I would stop back after lunch to check on what they wanted to take and how much credit I would receive. So, 2 HOURS later I stopped back and I was told the exact. Same. Thing. "there is ONE person ahead of you, but you're next." I was pretty confused but left and got a coffee around the corner. I went back, and now a manager (redhead) was there. Guess what she said? "there is ONE person ahead of you, but you're next." AND "please be patient we are training a new buyer today." (Indicating that the cashier who I had dropped my bag off with 2 AND 1/2 hours earlier was suddenly being trained) When I told her that I had been waiting longer than usual she started talking condescendingly to me and told me that I needed to be patient and "clothes are looked at in the order they are taken in." At this point, I could only imagine that the "1 person" before me must have dropped off 5 trash bags worth of clothes for them to have taken almost 3 HOURS to look through. The very least they could have done was let me know that it was going to take longer than usual the first time I dropped my bag off. Bad customer service and a careless, unnecessary waste of customer time. read more

My favorite thrift store in Tampa! They have great prices, especially when you combine it with their student discount days. They have a ton of merchandise ranging from shoes and clothes to books and items for your house! The best thing I found here was this vintage Hard Rock Cafe denim jacket that I now wear all the time. I have a huge closet. I fill it with revolve clothing. I don't go there expecting to find a perfect item every time, but I have found great boots, leggings, t-shirts for my boyfriend, heels for a wedding and little black dresses. I like to rotate and check out all three spots in the TBA. My one complaint is that it doesn't have a huge selection of great work appropriate attire. Everything is either see through or sleeveless, which doesn't jive with my conservative work environment. I feel frustrated by never finding blouses with sleeves that are good for work. I've sold clothes there before and I love getting money to spend by trading in my old clothes. It feels like I"m getting the most out of my clothing budget. Like I said, sometimes I leave without buying anything. Usually I comb the racks and only find one or two things I like, but their clothing includes a range of styles and not everything is for me. I looked all summer for rayon dresses and didn't have much luck, for example. The staff is always friendly. I love the punch card discount. read more

It was a really nice boutique and had a great selection of plus size clothes however, my purpose for coming in was to sell my clothes. I brough almost two bags full of clothes and was left with a pretty full bag of them still. They took some nice stuff, some fancy dress I had and some in "trend" clothes. I was concerned why the other clothes were not good enough because they fit the guidelines. I recieved a chump sum of $3 for a few pieces of clothing I had. I think that's pretty lame for reselling. I would never go back, even to buy from their store. read more

I loved this store. Upon first glance, it appears prices are a little higher than most clothing stores but I'm amazed at their large selection of different sizes! They definitely curated an amazing selection for all body types. Also, the employees are super nice here as well. Went here in hopes of trading in some clothes. When I walked in the lady with the red hair told me it would be an hour wait because her and her coworker needed to go on break. (I don't understand why one of them couldn't look trough my stuff while the other was on break???) there was no one in the store besides me. She was just standing behind the counter not doing anything. I waited 45 minutes and then I walked back up to the counter because I saw her helping another person so I asked how much longer. She told me at least 30 more minutes because she still needed to take a break... she had a horrible attitude & horrible customer service. I ended up asking for my clothes back and leaving. Don't go here in hopes of trading things in unless you want your time wasted. Also they only give 15% cash and 30% store credit! Not worth it at all. read more

Revolve features a wonderful selection of lightly-worn and like-new clothing and accessories that have been traded in. The prices are amazingly low. I don't think I've paid more than $10 per shirt and more than $15 per skirt. I did a trade-in as well; the processing and weeding out was prompt, given the amount of clothing I traded in, and I received a phone call as soon as it was complete. Everyone who works there is insanely nice, personable, and is happy to answer any questions one may have. Great prices for unique articles of clothing! read more

This place is super cute! The employees were sweet and very helpful. I can certainly see how people can find stuff in this joint, but I didn't quite make it through all the racks. I found the place a little disorganized (clothing wise), but they still had a variety of things for really cheap. I'm looking more of vintage clothing, and this place only had a handful. However, I'm sure with more digging I probably could have found more things. I left with a vintage looking dress purchased for $22. They also have a frequent buyers card, so that's great to know! What a great little store among a few tacky tourist stops on Ybor city. The people were friendly, there were some nice selections, and the prices were generally reasonable. Some of the dresses are a bit expensive, but there are still some great items for under $10. read more

This place is usually pretty cool but today when we visited the staff was very unhelpful and obviously talking crap about all the patrons in the store. I don't think we did anything rude and we still spent 75 dollars on used goods, but I don't know why they were such grumpy jerkos. Bunch of dumb bags. Very friendly staff that lets you dig without bothering you. Plenty of variety that includes vintage, used, and newer clothing. I've always found something that I just HAD to have when I've been there. The first trip it was a darling pair of turquoise earrings for a whopping $3 and the most recent trip was a pair of gently used wedge sandals for $13. Some of the "higher end" finds are still a bit out of my price range for used clothing ($27 for designer jeans, $40 for a Lilly Pulitzer dress) but that's just me :) read more

Revolve is an experience. It's spacious, clean, has plenty of fitting rooms with great lighting and the staff is great. Revolve doesn't have that god awful moth-ball smell that most thrift shops have and it's organized by size which i love. The staff was great, they even made suggestions that i found extremely helpful, they managed to keep conversation with my friend to keep him busy. The prices were really low and I got two dresses for around $18.00. In conclusion this place is great! read more

I started coming to Revolve when they first open years ago. I absolutely adore this place. It's small, has a variety of items, and doesn't overdo it! I've bought very many cute little dresses from this place, along with necklaces and sunglasses. If you're in Ybor you must check this little gem out! I have been to the Ybor and St. Pete locations. Both are a very friendly environment with racks full of clothes that are reasonably priced and are for every fashion in existance. The staff will help reserve you a dressing room before you can even ask and are very easy to chat with or ask an opinion of. The locations are desirable as well. Ybor is very nice during the day, with many cute and trendy shops as well as eateries, along with a movie theater around the block. If you are looking for a good consignment shop, this is one of the best ones I have seen since living near ASU in Arizona and going to Buffalo Exchange. read more
