Well this shop has it all and owned by a couple, he is British and she is German. They started the shop four years ago as they were struggling to find British products in Munich. The selection is extensive and they have much more food items that the other shop in Haidhausen called Pommeroy. The shop is also well laid out and the choices are plenty. Everything from cereal to marmite and Cadbury chocolates, you can find here. They have various items you need to make a classic British meal and roast dinner from gravy, oxo cubes, stuffing and so on. They also have a wide range of biscuits and crackers and a whole lot of British drinks and cordials. They have a selection of British souvenirs and tea sets and a good selection of British teas. Definitely the place to go for classic British groceries. The prices are not bad (more expensive than the uk) and it's not far out of the city centre. Worth a trip to this shop. I am sure I will be back again plenty of times in the future :-)

The sandwich I had was a Sundried Tomato Bagel with Parma Ham, Cream Cheese and Rocket and I really enjoyed it. The cappuccino I had was also quite nice and creamy. I would happily come back here for lunch now that I know such a place exists short walk from my office :-)

Yes folks Bavaria is wonderful but you have to do your shopping before 8pm monday to a saturday - so finding this heaven at the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) has saved many a life, relationship, date and party. It might in some areas be a little pricier, less choice but meets most basic and emergency needs - hence the 5* rating. Got an excellent cold room full of beer. Spirits are behind the cash desks. Queues can be long especially weekends - Sunday evening when everyone is arriving or coming back home is a chore. But thank you for small inconveniences.

You can buy the hot chocolate spoon things and they'll bring it to you with a hot cup of milk so you can sip on it while people watching. Otherwise, take it home or pack it up and fly across the country with it! Either way, a delicious treat :) I ended up buying some chocolate bars and a small gift basket as souvenirs along with the hot chocolate spoons I enjoyed outside. Unlike many döner shops that rely on heavy sauces, Verdi lets the quality of the meat do the talking. The perfectly cooked meat, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced flavors made every bite outstanding without overwhelming the sandwich with sauce. There's usually a line, but it's for a good reason. They wait until the meat is properly cooked before slicing it for each döner and dürüm, and the extra few minutes are absolutely worth it. The Döner itself is very tasty, nicely roasted meat, generous meat vs veggies, great seasoning with a good spiciness. Nice! They could pay much more attention to keeping the eating area clean. Oh and don't expect them to have anything left after 5:30pm: they sell out hours early due to their popularity. Overall? It was good, but the wait was too long for me to come again.
