Better still because you can add your own aromatherapy oils and make your own scents. This place is not as slick as some of the other health shops in Mosman but there's charm there and I hope it prospers.

I like that though. It's a neat kind of chaos. Some of the more unique items they sell are sprouted bread, coconut yoghurt, kefir sachets, fermented vegetables like sauerkraut, unpasturised 'beauty' milk, and fresh nut paste (you make it there). They also have a huge selection of seeds, nuts, dried berries (goji and blueberries amongst others), teas, natural herbs, flours and tinctures, the lesser-known grains like red quinoa and buckwheat. Celiacs with love this place - they have gluten free pastas, gluten free cake mixes, gluten free cereals - you name it they probably have it. A good selection of organic ice cream and frozen vegan 'meats' are also available as well as a selection of skin care ranges like Weleda and a good range of natural soap. They have a small range of organic fresh fruit and vegetables outside. I'm not particularly fond of my produce lying beside a car park even if it is organic but when organic bananas are going for $1 each I'm inclined to buy. The ladies are really helpful and there is a naturapath and herbalist available for free advice also.

It's a small store, but is absolutely packed with health foods and health supplements - some of which actually look well worth eating despite their purported benefits! It's the source of all my homemade muesli ingredients, though I rarely leave without being temped to add something new to my basket - the last was a tic-tac like pocket-pack of pure organic liquorice. Now that was a taste experience! And of course all the staff look suitably organic.

The shop assistant was very helpful and really knew his stuff I explained that I was wanting to increase my level of experientia with my surroundings and increase my memory and he suggested that I take magnesium, gingko to help with circulation in the back of my neck and also Bacopa which can be used for mental stimulation, all are natural products. i could not afford all 3 so I grabbed the gingko and bacopa and it really worked, I've run out now, but I should definitley go back for some more.

I love me a bit of hippy food and their tofu fritters are delicious... and the coffee is great and fair trade, natch.

They have a resident naturopath ready to help with free consultations, a bulk food sections for those nuts, beans, grains and herbs you're ready to horde, a small resources section if that obscure vegan+gluten free cookbook has been eluding you, a juice and smoothie bar if you need that wheatgrass shot to really rev you up in the morning, and a deli counter with their own delicious creations from wraps and veggie patties to the world's best gluten-free macadamia nut brownies. I'm not joking about the brownies. They're small, but perfectly formed, just like the Health Emporium.

I almost walked past with my nose turned up, but I glanced through the dank little doorway and changed my mind. As you walk through, the shop takes shape - it becomes lighter, more inspiring and more stocked. This is foodie and health heaven, much as the shop's name suggests. The refrigerated cabinet holds all manner of cheeses - goat, feta, sheep, cheddar, ricotta as well as yoghurt, milk and butter. An effort to keep things natural and local has clearly been made. Further down is a wonderful shelf stocked with hundreds of brown paper packages, containing a huge variety of seeds, beans, grains and flours. I can't imagine there is anything missing from this pulse-paradise. I love the fact it's all wrapped organically with labels describing exactly what is within, the nutritional information and cooking instructions. On the opposite side of the shop is a bizarre array of vast plastic tubs and containers which look as if they'd be better placed in a factory. But, on closer inspection, they are enormous pots of weird and wonderful substances such as agave nectar - usually very difficult to track down. Finally, at the back of the shop is a fabulous fruit and vegetable section, resplendent with purple carrots, crunchy lettuces and shiny fruit. This is a wonderful shop for anyone who likes organic, top quality food. Living healthily seems so easy in a place such as this, where all those tough-to-find products have their place on the shelves. It is quite expensive, but you can't put a price on top quality produce. This shop is frequently crammed with customers, glowing at the sight of such healthy food. Perhaps the Organic Paradise and Suveran's rather dishevelled exterior is a cunning ploy to keep one of Bondi's best-kept secrets under wraps.

Although not the best service from a health food store, and in areas such as Balmain I have…read morereceived much better service; and also at times I just cannot seem to find what it is I am wanting to find at this establishment, and it can be a little bit of a challenge moving around as the aisles are so small; due to the sheer size of this establishment. Otherwise I find this business to be great, and it is popular; yet needless to say the city is slightly short of quality health food stores unlike Melbourne city. Great selection of healthy items though, and considering the size challenge they are well presented, so credit is due where it is much needed. The service is fantastic; however I mainly come here for some organic herbal tea or for one of their health or protein bars at the front counter. It is great occasionally to head towards the back of the store for the healthy items in the fridge, and if thirsty I also happen to sometimes go for some herbal mineral water such as Chi. Quality products that also provide that much needed refreshment. This is the type of health food store where I just come in if I want anything related, it doesn't have to be specific; yet for specific health supplement and food requests: I find it much easier to head to nearby Balmain for all of that.
