THE BIG: Located in Parras and has a huge estate with pecans and grapes everywhere. Parking is inside the property but overfill is outside.
THE BLACK AND WHITE: We came out here for a day trip from Monterrey and had RGMX as our last wine tour stop before heading back. The RG stands for Rivero Gonzalez and MX stands for Mexico.
We started off with a nice non-alcoholic spritz before doing our tour that saw the cabernet sauvignon grapes growing and the barrels. Near the end of the tour, we were given a tasting of 3 wine pours. None really stood out for me but I did enjoy their malbec. We were also given a charcuterie board to help pair with the wines. All seemed like they've been sitting out for a while.
THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the cost of a wine tasting tour is 850 MXN which is pretty hefty for tasting 3 wines. Wine didn't really impressed but if you're in the area, the property is gorgeous to visit. read more
