This hotel, only God knows why, possesses the power to produce the most amazing cup of coffee in the world. A dark, rich, house blend, served piping hot. I quickly became addicted. I don't know why I had to be all the way in Bicol to find the best cup of coffee ever served. Maybe God knew I needed it.

Easy in, easy out!!!…read more We're alway hesitant booking a reservation at a place we've never been before. Lotus Blu put our anxiety to rest right off the bat. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. The hotel is in real good condition. Staff is friendly. We even asked for the room that my brother-in-law was staying in to be close to the elevator because he is physically disabled and the staff accommodated that with no questions asked. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the airport which was perfect. We only spent one night there so we didn't get a chance to test their restaurant. All in all, highly recommended - - I can't think of anything negative. Enjoy.

I wanted to thank the staff and management of this hotel for living up to our expectations and more. The staff were all attentive and were excellent in their service. The security accosted and helped the seniors get in and out of the vehicles. The breakfast is so gratifying. There were a lot of choices and everything was fresh. The rooms were spacious and were kept clean. The bed mattresses were very comfortable. Thank you, The Carmen Hotel staff for making my family's experience at Naga memorable. We will definitely be back at your hotel in our next visit.

This is a new hotel so be aware that some of the main amenities listed were not available yet…read more There was no pool yet, no restaurant or bar. I did not ask about the fitness center or the business center, so if you need them, check first if they are ready for use. There was no wifi in my room or the lobby. As it turned out, the staff was supposed to do some set up on the guest's cellphone in order for the wifi to work, but none of them mentioned anything about it. There was no way for the guests to know this because they did not have any printed information in the room. The shuttle to and from the airport was 500 pesos per trip extra, which was unusual because most hotels in Naga City offer this service for free. You also pay extra for breakfast, again usually free. There were no bathrobes, coffeemaker or minibar in the room as advertised in the hotel listing. The staff was nice and polite, but some of the processes at the front desk were not quite solid yet. If you paid for anything, like breakfast or shuttle service, make sure to keep all your paper receipts. They asked me to pay them again when I checked out. Thankfully I kept the receipts. Somehow they couldn't tell that I already paid them just by looking at the computer or their paper files. Overall, this hotel is not for the seasoned traveler, at least not yet. Very amateur. Hopefully they get better in the days to come.

The property is not kept up well, seen better days maybe. In the lobby they have Louie Vuitton Boxes and other luxury names used to decorate behind the front desk..if you're gonna go there and claim to be as elegant as the labels you're obsessed with you better bring your "A" game in quality...but you didn't. The good: Great views on the way there, so green. Great views from the beach and the resort looks cute from afar. Cute slippers and robe available in my room. and awesome massage therapist! she was great! The bad: Very basic very average very run down. we had garden views double occupancy, 2 rooms. Cute little pool next to us, but the constant waterfall in the pool could get little loud. The room was poorly lit, no safe available. Large window sofa was stained and so was the small bench i placed my carry on luggage. The bathroom..great division of toilet and shower but for goodness sake CLEAN the glass dividers!! our mirrors were not clean either. Our toilet seat kept sliding back and forth and the door for toilet would not shut. When i left the room for breakfast i requested my room be cleaned..I came back to a made bed but they didn't throw away the left over food from room service the night before. The surrounding landscape grounds are nice in some areas but not all over..the poor Koi are living in green cloudy algae water by the gym. oh the gym! rusty old workout equipment and a bent benching bar. the beach area was cute, but i rented a paddle board and it has seem better days the plastic or paint was chipping like crazy and the rubber falling apart it was a sad paddle-board. We played ping pong and that table was broken and just at its last leg. Staff for the most part was great and friendly. And dining..breakfast, lunch and dinner....sub-par..terrible and most of the stuff we wanted to try was not available! .....So buyer beware if you want luxury...it is not.

Make sure you ask first before ordering, because the prices are way over priced; more expensive than 1st world. In the bathroom, some metal fixtures showed significant rust, and there appeared to be areas of mold growth, suggesting that additional attention to cleaning and maintenance is needed. While I understand that occasional issues can arise, cleanliness, proper maintenance, and reliable communication are fundamental to a comfortable hotel stay. I hope management will consider these concerns constructively and take the appropriate steps to improve these areas for future guests.

Tip: request for Mayon View and wake up as early as 6am to see its full majestic view. Most of the time, the perfect cone was covered with clouds. I am always keen about the food that the hotel serves, the breakfast buffet service at Venezia is something commendable and available from 6:00am to 10:00am. If you're planning to visit Bicol, Venezia offers free airport transfers and even day tour to Misibis Bay. There are all-in packages inclusive of water activities in Misibis. It is actually located inside a village. The pool is a 3-minute walk from the hotel premises but the area is extremely safe and quiet. There are rooms with two deluxe beds that can fit a family of four.
