This should be zero Stars.I purchase my hot water heater 10 months ago little did i know that the Gas valves are faulty. I made a call still under warranty. I was told I would receive my part in 2 to 4 business days when 6 days went by I still didn't receive it I called to find out what has happened to my part. I was told I'm sorry we don't have that part in stock. So when was someone going to inform me of that? I'll send a different one and overnight it. Gee THANKS!! (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!) I had to call them to find this out? They don't have computers that keep track and tell them what they have in stock? When I finally received it 10 days later I had a plumber come to fix it paid him $200 for him to tell me there is a part missing. 6 DAY'S after that I received the part I was never told about needing or that it was coming separately. So I'm out two hundred bucks...still no hot water. Which I've been with out for 2 weeks. Great customer service NOT!!! no communication when asked about why I wasn't informed the part wasn't in stock and why I wasn't informed that even though he was shipping the part over night please wait though Don't call your plumber yet I would still be waiting another 6 days for a second part i needed. would never buy a part or product from them again. Works fine until it breaks. they have NO authorized repair companies. The trouble shooting staff are rude & in my opinion stupid. No one stocks Rheem parts to go buy locally. Rheem will not sell parts with a phone order, only internet, but their site does not work. My remote has gone out. I cannot diagnose the problem without their remote. There are no service companies who can come with their remote to diagnose because they have no service agents. I will never buy anything else from this Japanese manufacturer.
