READ THEIR GUARANTEE CAREFULLY! They only take your money and plead no contest. I retained Rhino to represent me when I received a ticket. I explained at length that I was NOT GUILTY of the violation and had a witness and recording or the incident. Terry told me he understood and had taken notes. I waited for them to help me. A few weeks later I received a message to check the portal for news. The news was they plead no contest and I have to pay all the fines and take the class just the same. Technically they did what they promised: Ticket is not on my record and I don't have to travel to Florida to attend traffic school. But, I assumed that being found no guilty meant no fines. Not true, the "fine" just converted to "court costs". If I had just paid the fine, no school would have been required. I would have had points taken off my license, but in 30 years this is the only speeding ticket I have ever gotten. I don't really care about points. So I had to pay their fees in addition to the court costs, and I now have to attend an on-line class that is even more $$. I only retained them because I thought they would save me money. This company started spamming me with mail after I got a ticket. I hadn't planned to object the ticket and get a lawyer, I just wanted it to be over with. When I called to be removed from their mailing list the first person I spoke to hung up on me after I told her this. The second person said that wasn't possible but took down my name to "pass it on" to the company they use that obtains people's information on who gets tickets. What a joke of a company. read more

Cost too much for no reason. I paid Rhino $150 each for 2 tickets ($300). Plus $253 and $278 court cost ($531). That's $831. Plus I am required to take a 12 hr driving course in person. So basically, I paid the tickets and have to take a 12-hour driving course in person to keep the points off. There was no need to hire Rhino. They only kept the points off my license. But the drivers class does that anyway. Rhino is a joke. I would've saved over $300 not using them. read more

Its a scam, they will take $100 and pretend to resolve then you will receive a notice that you still have to pay a 'reduced' amount that truly adds up to what you would have paid anyway. Spiel: Did hours upon hours of research to find the best method of tackling my first traffic citation. Researched my options of traffic attorneys and after speaking with two people of Traffic Rhino's and finding out they were familiar with my specific cop (will forever remember this cops name...) who gave me my citation, I went with them because they seemed more knowledgeable than the other places I talked with. Never received a ticket before, let alone been pulled over even for a warning. I thought it was a shoe in that I would get my ticket completely dismissed and hiring a lawyer would just be my extra reassurance. They even assured me I would most likely get it dismissed due to not having a record. Well I was wrong and so were they. I thought worst case scenario would be that I would get a withhold and I pay a very much reduced fine that they would label as a "court fee" and that would be that. Well it wasn't so. Instead I paid basically 400 dollars altogether just because I safely passed a car in order to make space and get into the correct lane when the cop decided to pull me over from his camping spot. To put the icing on the cake, I basically asked why the result ended in so, and I was told they don't know and they cant find my record... Great. My Advice: My advice to FIRST TIME traffic citation receivers, just skip the lawyers altogether or at least this place. From my hours of research, just put aside and spend the extra time to appear in court and present yourself to the judge respectably. More likely to get it dismissed or get a withold with no points along with a very much reduced court fee or none at all and then just take traffic school which is way cheaper (testimony of a friend and some sources online). Tried to pay for my ticket today and was even told just present yourself at court rather than hiring a lawyer lol... Reasons for Star rating: 1st star: Did what they say in that at the very least, you get no points (plus you have to leave at least one star to rate). 2nd star: 2/3 people I spoke with were articulate, knowledgable and was happy to inform (highlight of the whole experience). I worked with RHINO attorneys for a simple ticket. I spent a few minutes talking to their legal secretary and gave them some info on my case. Never spoke to my 'lawyer' once this whole time but did send some emails describing my case since I was worried by the no lawyer contact issue. All of this and my emails to them describing my case were ignored and by the time it went to court they were spooked by MY witness and pled no contest since they didn't understand my case and did not want to do any extra work. While no contest may seem okay, they add up and means you are accepting punishment without admitting guilt ... from what I have read sometimes you can avoid points on your license doing this ... but it sounds pretty guilty to me and if having your driving record evaluated in the future it may add up and inform future decisions. I looked up a case from someone else I know and the Rhino boys handled it the same way with the no contest. Tip: check out the lawyer who actually helped me and got my case dismissed at - MCFloridaLaw.com. This new lawyer seemed like a nice guy and after my 5 minute conversation with me, his day in court was almost identical to the one Rhino boy had but he had the case dismissed after my witness gave her statement. Will be refiling my complaint to the Florida bar on their subpar work with the results of my case now being seemingly definitive evidence of their poor performance. Throughout this whole process with Rhino, I worked with the managing partner, one of their main lawyers, and the office manager. All thoroughly disappointing and would only recommend them to my enemies. If you have multiple tickets handled by them you may want to consult another lawyer and see if they messed up your record with all of the no contests. This does not constitute legal advice as I am not a lawyer but I guess Rhino thought I was a lawyer as when I complained originally about how they handled my case they told me I should have showed up to court and spoke on my behalf, defending myself.
