I appreciate the attention Megan display to listen to the cut I wanted, and was thoughtful in asking questions during my appointment. She has a lots of experience and it was evident she is building a business that will thrive, 3 different customers came in as walk-ins while I was in her chair. Thank you for the nice haircut today. There is parking to the back of the shop and it's in a great location, directly across the street from Roe Ann drive-in. As an Elite Yelper, Almost Famous Barber has my highest recommendation. Worst haircut I've ever received, asked if they were available for walk in or if i had to make an…read moreappointment. Said walk in was good around a certain time, I came a little after the time was said and proceeded to be yelled at by a lady for 15 minutes. Doesn't make a haircut very enjoyable when the lady deciding the fate of your haircut is complaining to you and making you feel bad for "walking in." Clarifying what I wanted my haircut to look like ended with her saying "I know what I'm doing" and the worst haircut experience I've had in my life. On top of that awful experience they don't take card or any sort of mobile payment other than cash or checks even though they state on their Apple Maps that they accept credit cards, and doesn't say anything about it being cash only, also they do not have an ATM in the shop. The lady did a phenomenal job making me feel awful for not bringing cash in 2023. Would have been fine with waiting if she had haircuts lined up instead of yelling at me and making me feel bad for an extended amount of time in the middle of my haircut. She could have easily told me an appointment was needed and this situation wouldn't have happened, when you tell someone they can walk into your shop at any time around a certain time it's presumed to be casual and a stress free situation. Especially if your shop doesn't close for another 2 hours!
