One of Düsseldorf's biggest public pools, this has an exercise pool, a big fun pool, a children's…read morepool and several whirlpools and slides. I only have two problems with Düsselstrand: it's insanely expensive and there are no disinfectants for your feet, as in many other public pools. Sometimes the exercise pool is a bit too cold during winter. Other than that it's usually very clean. I go swimming in the morning, which is recommendable if you only want exercise and not go swimming in the fun pools, as it's much cheaper.

They only have one sauna btw unlike some other fit ones I've been to. It's a little out of my way but fit one will not allow me quit my contract which is unreal. Visited the new fit one and though everything was nice they do not have a men's sauna. Staff was also nice and helpful. The Würzburg fit one has to be the best one. Three floors, a lot of classes and 6-7 saunas available

Mind you, it isn't the parks fault that I was misled, namely because I didn't do any research to actually find out what was actually here, but simply accepted the name blindly, and proceeded to tell my brother that we were going to visit the zoo. As a park it is nice, and it does have some animals running around - not just dogs, but also birds, and a rather large lake. However, don't be fooled by the name like I was - it's just a park to relax in (when it isn't raining).
