Ricco Renzo beams with pride over the artists that they show on their gallery. It is, by far, the biggest gallery in LRI Design Plaza. They house international and local artists who have edgy and contemporary aesthetics. One of the standout pieces I saw on display that day were two Acuña paintings. They do house masters every now and then. And they also showcase up-and-coming talents with a really interesting take on their craft.
They also have a lot of abstract paintings inside. If that's your cup of tea, it's best to check them out and see for yourself the technique that these artists do. Sometimes you get a little too close studying the strokes and would go, "How did he even think about that?"
I asked the staff there who Ricco Renzo is and they told me that it's Italian for 'rich and famous.' It's also been twelve years since it was founded by Paulito Garcia and his late wife, Offy Garcia. They both loved Italy and it was one of the most memorable trips the had as a couple. read more
