I couldn't pick up a jug of milk or even lift my arm high enough to hug my kids! Everything I did hurt, including sleeping!! I was told by my doctor that the damage was too severe to seek even massage therapy and that it would be approximately 6 - 12 months until I was functional again and up to 24 months to be functional without pain if I did massage therapy and physio once the pain subsided. I was referred to Panorama Chiropractic for their laser treatment (something I had never heard of before) and very quickly began to see results. With each treatment I saw progress and before long I could do things we all take for granted like lifting a bag of groceries and hugging my kids!! In 4 months of the injury and within 3 months of starting laser, I was completely functional AND pain free!!! Geoffrey Yee, registered massage therapist, is an olympic lifter, and therefore knows exactly where my muscles hurt and how much pressure to use. He has a personable manner and has a passion for helping people in pain and for sharing knowledge. I can't recommend him enough. Joseph Chang is truly the best acupuncturist I have ever visited. He has a very calming, healing nature. Within one session, he assessed my issues, used acupuncture needles, completed cupping and fire cupping, and manually adjusted my problem areas. I also had the opportunity to try "ear seeds" which were to be left on for 4 days. His treatments have been absolutely amazing.
