I came here because of all the rave reviews on social media. I was super excited to get my pork hash and crispy gau gee. I heard it tasted like back home. When I walked in, the lady behind the counter said hello and disappeared in the back for about 7 minutes. I stood there and wondered if I should stay or wait. She eventually came back out and took my order, then disappeared again. I sat there for about 30 minutes, watching other people come in and just stand there. The lady finally came out and brought out one box. She placed it on the counter then disappeared in the back again. After an additional 10 mins, she came out with the second box and told me my items were ready. Finally! Here's my overall take. First, the store is small and definitely needs the floors mopped. Be prepared to be there a long time. It's not a quick stop in and go store. The pork hash is big and was good, same for the crispy gau gee. I have been seeing this place online and finally had the courage to try it out lol it's definitely a hole in a wall in China town, parking lot kinda sucks and upon entering already notice the cleanliness of the place which is none existent and there is a little bit of a funky smell in there. Anyways we ordered 6 pork shumai and 1 chasu pork bun (Manapua) and omg the size of that shumai was crazy and same w the pork bun,spent about $13 something and the weight of the bag insane. Shumai not bad at all it's like $1.69 a piece I believe is it the best no but it's not bad at all specially for the huge portion. The bbq pork bun is huge and it's really good and flavorful as well, like the sauce that came with the shumai.
