    Pork shumai
    Regina B.

I have been seeing this place online and finally had the courage to try it out lol it's definitely a hole in a wall in China town, parking lot kinda sucks and upon entering already notice the cleanliness of the place which is none existent and there is a little bit of a funky smell in there. Anyways we ordered 6 pork shumai and 1 chasu pork bun (Manapua) and omg the size of that shumai was crazy and same w the pork bun, spent about $13 something and the weight of the bag insane. Shumai not bad at all it's like $1.69 a piece I believe is it the best no but it's not bad at all specially for the huge portion. The bbq pork bun is huge and it's really good and flavorful as well, like the sauce that came with the shumai. Service well it's an old lady and I think 1 person running the kitchen so don't expect much. We will come back again and try other stuff for sure.

Service was great! The young lady working the counter was very sweet and helped me order because I was so hungry I wanted to get everything! Lol. Ambiance was like where I grew up in Hawaii, typical mom and pop shop! Where they take care of you and you keep coming back! Lol! And the food??? The food was ON POINT! Best chasu I've had out here in LV and I've been here 9 years now! Baked manapua? BOMB AS HELL, (wayyyy better than Hawaii chun wa). Porkash? BOMB! (Authentic and they're huge! Totally worth the price for one!) noodles, fried rice, gau gee? PERFECTTTTT! So thankful we swung by and got to try it, will definitely be coming back for more!

I come here for the rice cakes - prolly the closest ill get to the hawaii made rice cakes. Seems to be family owned & ran so im happy to be able to support small business! Young gentleman at front was very nice. I only got rice cakes & 1 pork hash. Rice cake is good and soft, could be a little sweeter however it is good. Pork hash was very tasty and a good sized portion! Lots of meat and very tasty! Ill be back to try some of their entrees!

A literal hole in the wall. This place is unpretentious. No fancy decor, no frills. Just solid good food. While other food-to-go Chinese places have their food laid out under a heat for prolonged periods of time, the husband & wife tandem cooks your food upon order. Talk about freshness. And because it is cooked on order, you can request to adjust the saltiness level. As for me, they are just fine as is. My favorite is their shumai which is as big as clementine mandarin oranges. They infuse the meat with sesame oil which add a range of flavor from saltiness to ultimate umami. Too bad that they do not have a branch in LA. Definitely will order when in town.

Ok where I start me and my six year old baby got out the car and instantly we saw two guys smoking something out of a glass pipe and I should have gotten in the car and drove off but my quest for good fried rice took over me My bad!! So upon entering it was very small inside ok no problem so I was third in line so I keep looking out the window like please no one break into my car. So I ordered the combination fried rice it took about 15 mins while I'm waiting I noticed trash on the floor mannn so I got my rice didn't look at it until safely in the car and I must say I was amazed by the smell and the amount of rice was on point. So I got home tried it and it's a 10/10 so good full of meat fresh tasting and I will be back only in the day time and maybe with a bat next time I would recommend it just take someone with u

Pork Hash get action. Taste like back home in Hawaii. Baked Manapua was also good. Big menu to check out. Definitely will come back again.

Anyone here wwho knows if it's possible to jut order 4 or 5 pieces of shumai?and how much is it?TIA

I've seen some posts of 4 pieces of shumai so I'm thinking you can order just a few.

How much is the pork shumai and what is the minimum order for a single person?

There's no minimum order and its $1.35 per piece. Best shu Mai in Vegas!

Set up was a little different, no carts, but there was a huge counter that displayed a lot of the dim sum...similar to take out counter in a market. They do table service and order from menu. Menu had a lot of photos and easy to navigate. The good: turnip cake-crispy and not oily, flavor of wonton Soup was good, Gai lan Chinese broccoli was tasty. Dumplings like Hargow, and siu Mai tasted a little old. Wrapper dry and filling was denser in texture. Tripe stew had good flavor but texture was mushy (passed the point of tender) Service was fine, staff was available when needed, but overall felt quality/ambiance could be better. Maybe better during prime time or breakfast.
