Was surprised at the cost for blood work. Double than anywhere else, a total rip off! They ha me unpublished prices. I called to find out why, was told I should have asked an estimate first. I think they change it as and when they want. read more

Crowded most of the time and there is huge line to go inside. Everything is in order. So if you…read moredon't like to stay in the line, then i'd suggest to come as early as possible then the chances of finding the line to be short will be higher. The number of stairs going up can be a lot and the workout of going up and down can be quite intensive. If you are faint on heart, then you may have to take proper precautions and bring drinks to stay hydrated. They don't allow backpacks into the Duomo, so you may have to leave it to the backpack check in location. The view is majestic and the architecture is full of details and its surprising that it was done centuries ago... Definitely worth coming to this place!

I am finding this hospital more and more professional. I wrote a review yesterday about very poor…read morecommunications with family and friends. Now I have a bigger complaint because the hospital link to customer complaints does not work. And based on my past weeks exerience with Careggi Hospital, it makws sense the hispiral has no cuskmter service. My feiend Javier has been in intensive care for two weeks. He is breathing on his own now, even walking around and anxious to be dischaeged. However, the hospital is scheduling multiple cat scans. I am not a medical doctor, so I cannot questio the rationale for so many scans. But what I do have a maior problem with is that scans are scheduled on multople days in the morning, but never happens on time. Javier often waits until late afternoon, and now today, with no food because he cannot eat prior to the scan. How is a patient suppose to get better if the hospital starves a patient for over 20 hours. His last meal was dinner yesterday at 21:00 yesterday and it is now 18:00 today. This care is becoming poorer every day and no one wants to hear these complaints, this is just there normal operating procedure. This is very sad as I am sure numerous patients are experiencing the same lack of care. Shameful really!

When i arrived in italy, i was really panicked at the prices of a doctor visit, but then i found this place where prices are reasonable and more in line with what i am used to - around 45 euros for a specialist. Go to their amazing website where you can book in one instant with any specialist (any!) so you do not even need to call. You receive the info by email and hop, off you can go. You can even access the CV of doctors online if you are looking for a very specialized specialist. it really is a modern institution. Doctors i saw seem very good (how would i know for sure, you will tell me) and are more or less on time. You will have a number and you wait to see yours called on the board. Very efficient! Most of doctors i saw spoke English. The problem is that after you will need to go to a pharmacy and pay a fortune - i do not understand how medicines can be so expensive. Anyway, Misericordia at least helped you with the price of doctors.
