My partner and I had dinner at Rich Table in San Francisco tonight. While the environment is very nice and the food is undeniably delicious, our overall experience was completely spoiled by what felt like a deceptive billing practice. The Food: For the most part, the kitchen delivered a fantastic meal. Here's what we ordered: - Rich Table Sourdough & House Cultured Butter: The butter was absolutely delicious. - Aged Beef Dumpling with RT Chili Crunch: Very flavorful. - Mirimichi Oysters: Fresh and a great start to the meal. - Fried Pork Chop: An interesting and highly enjoyable combination of flavors. - 21-Day Dry Aged Ribeye: This was just okay; unfortunately, the meat was a bit chewy. The Experience: Despite the culinary highlights, the service left us feeling ripped off. I ordered a club soda, which came in a very small glass. I asked for a refill twice during the meal. When the check arrived, I was shocked to see a $15 charge for three club sodas ($5.00 each). There was no price listed on the menu for this, and at no point did the waiter mention a $5 charge for each small glass - nor did he give a heads-up when I asked for a refill. I don't mind paying $5 for sparkling water if it's clearly stated, but charging $5 per refill for a tiny glass of club soda without any warning feels deceptive, especially considering many restaurants offer this for free. While the restaurant's profile shows a stellar 4.7-star reputation and sets expectations for a premium $100+ meal, hidden charges on basic items shouldn't be part of fine dining. My second visit to Rich Table to celebrate my birthday! I loved it the first time, so I knew I had to come back, especially since the menu is always changing. There were some staple items that are an absolute must, such as the porcini donuts and the dumplings, but we were also able to try some new things such as the beef rendang agnolotti and the duck liver pate! Everything was so delicious. We did also order the pork chop, which was a bit fatty for our taste, but it had a lot of flavor! I also absolutely loved the cocktail I ordered and might come back just for that and the porcini donuts, which was my favorite. We got lucky and a reservation opened up, but it was definitely a bit tough so highly recommend booking in advance! Rich Table provides a very nice, casual, fine dining experience. Their menu changes so you can expect something new between your visits. On our recent visit, four of us shared a round of small plates, appetizers and pasta/rice. The server took care to explain how the menu works because it was most of our party's first time. The food is definitely inventive. My favorite dish matched bluefin tuna with strawberries. The rice dish was also excellent and topped with watercress. The cocktails we tried were just ok. It was a good experience to try out the concept. I would come back at the next menu change to try something new. Honestly if I could give it a 4.5 I would. I really did enjoy this place. I would recommend it but it's not cheap. We ended up doing the tasting menu and what I realized were that the portions were smaller and it would've been better to order à la cart. The sizes of the dishes seem to be much smaller in the tasting menu. As always, I prefer the smaller dishes and less the entrees. The sardine chip was good; donuts, stone fruit. This restaurant is one of my favorites in the Bay Area and the dishes are consistently delicious. Cocktails rotate and are delicious. The sardine chips (pricey) and porcini doughnuts are full of umami flavors. These are staples and stay on the menu. The caviar and cornbread was so so good, a great mixture of sweet and savory. Toro toast on milk bread. If you think of it as a sushi, but toasted bread instead of rice, you can get an idea of the flavor. Fried rice à la plancha: Soo soo good! Definitely get it. The mushrooms and peas were delicious and the rice had a great smoky and crispy texture. Would order again. Fried pork chop: A very substantial cut with Vietnamese undertones. It was the quality of a strip steak with no marbling, already was a red flag that they don't ask how you would like the "ribeye" cooked. Was staying in SF for a long weekend for the SF Whiskey Society annual event and we booked a late dinner seating at Rich Table on a Saturday night. We have been wanting to try this place for over a decade but never scored a table and planned far enough in advance in the past - so this visit was long overdue. Turns out we weren't exactly "blown away", so perhaps either Rich Table is just "going through the motions" now, or we simply expected more than they can offer. Service was nice, but the menu options seemed like a list of disparate items that really didn't make for a cogent linear meal. Originally, we thought we'd do the chefs menu but it was already 9 PM when we sat down and I had been enjoying many dozens of whiskey's and scotches and bourbons at the Whisky Society event earlier that evening, as well as dim sum from Yank Sing, so my wife and I shared a number of dishes and most of them were decent but seriously nothing all that notable or memorable. We started with the classic Dried Porcini Doughnuts with Raclette, which was made into a frothy cheese sauce and they were good when hot but after a few minutes they became greasy and dense. Some fresh whipped cheese sauce helped but I think this "classic" starter has past its prime. Next we shared a teeny tiny blue fin toro with yuzu on a piece of milk toast and it was fine but for almost thirty bucks it was really just a quarter of a slice of bread - so damn small and exactly as described,...chopped up toro on a thin slice of bread - something better executed at many Japanese sushi joints in town, and probably easier to share. This tiny raw fish toast was followed by the best dish of the night, BEEF RENDANG AGNOLOTTI, PICKLED FRESNO PEPPER, ASPARAGUS, TATSOI - which was genuinely unique and tasty. The solo highlight for the night. Our last dish was really nothing special and quite honestly having just returned from a work trip in Munich, any number of places I ate in did a better job with what was essentially a pork schnitzel ! Their FRIED PORK CHOP, RAU RAM REMOULADE, BABY CHARD, MEYER LEMON NUOC CHAM was essentially a fried pork chop. Yawn. All in all, after years of waiting to check out this well regarded restaurant we walked away relatively unimpressed and likely not to make a return visit. Prices were on the high end and all the menu prices, despite a new menu being generated weekly, for some odd reason doesn't state the actual prices, they add 6.5% Surcharge on top of the entire bill at the end of the meal for "rising costs". Here's a novel idea, price everything on the menu accurately. Otherwise it starts to feel like an airline charging me to bring in a bag, or Ticketmaster's junk fees, or the crappy resort fees some hotels tag on the back end after you stay, for things that you are already paying for and probably didn't want to use or already paid for ! New menu made weekly, how about the actually charges for each dish,...unless you are afraid to honestly show what you are charging for a teeny tiny slice of bread with tuna on top ?! On balance, really pretty average and costly for what it was. Disappointed. Perhaps we caught an off night or a so-so menu ? Unsure but there are plenty of places in the area that try harder and impress us more. And so it goes. Meh. read more

Came to Rich Table and generally enjoyed it but it didn't exactly knock my socks off like I had hoped. We started our meal off with the aged beef dumpling and the tuna toro toast. The beef dumpling came first doused in the house made chili crisp. That chili crisp was delicious! It was garlic forward and I also liked the pepitas in there! As for the dumpling, it was good. The dumpling wrapper was supple and not too thick. The beef was well seasoned but it was a meatball. Too dense in my opinion. It lacked the "fluffy" mouthfeel that my parents taught me to seek. As for the toast, the milk bread was toasted a lot more than I expected, it no longer had that desirable pillowy texture even on the inside. There was a good amount of toro though! And the toro was seasoned very nicely. Between the two, it was my favorite. At this point we were met with an extremely long wait. I think 30 minutes or so in, we were told the kitchen was behind and it was left at that. A gesture of house bread would have been nice in my opinion... Eventually the food did come though and at that point, we were starving. We decided to go after the linguine first which was nice and rich from the smoked yolk and the Parmesan. I personally would have liked to see the chanterelles retain more structure because it's a beautiful mushroom but as is, I couldn't tell it apart from a standard oyster mushroom. As for the schnitzel, well it was more of a deep fried bone in pork chop. Not complaining though! It was super tender and juicy and the bitter chicory did a nice job playing off the fatty richness of the pork and the slightly sweet coffee jus. It was my favorite of the mains. For dessert, we got the POG shaved ice. I thought it did a good job with flavors and textures but both my friend and I thought the perilla leaves weren't the move. The licorice taste just didn't play in our opinion...perhaps mint would have been better. All in all, I do think I'd return when the menu shifts seasons. Finally was able to try this restaurant. It was recommended by some friends and I also saw it on an IG influencer that I follow's page so I was really excited to try it. I went alone so it was easy for me to get a reservation but I did hear it was harder for bigger groups so keep that in mind when making reservations. I was lucky and found parking right across the street. It was pretty tight but I made it work. Sat at the bar. Ordered a glass of champagne. Kinda pricey ($25) and didn't know until the bill came but that's partially my fault cause I didn't specify what kind of champagne I wanted so I'm sure the bartender just gave me one of the more expensive ones. It was delicious either way. For appetizers, I ordered two of the dumplings. You can order by the piece but I figured 1 may not be enough. It was $5.25 a piece. It was pretty good. Would have liked some sort of acidity but the flavor was good. It was chili crunch dumping. They didn't skimp on the chili crunch but it wasn't spicy at all. Then again, my spice tolerance is pretty high. I also ordered the toro toast. It was brought out at the same time as my dumplings which was great cause I was able to alternate eating both. This was delicious. But I love most things with yuzu. I could have eaten another but I had more food coming. For my entrees, I ordered the dry aged rib eye medium rare and also the uni cacio e pepe. They brought out the cacio e pepe first. I ate about half of it before setting it aside. It was delicious. Creamy, perfect amount of saltiness and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I didn't want to get too full before my steak came. As for the rib eye, it was cooked perfectly. Seasoned just right. Love when a steak is well seasoned. It was tender and was served with a bearnaise. That was delicious also but it didn't even need it. The asparagus and garlic that was on the side was also cooked to perfection. Easily one of my favorite restaurants ever. The menu keeps changing so you'll always be treated to something new and different. They do keep certain staples on the menu such as the porcini donuts. Try them once and then move on from them in your next visits :) they're tasty but for me not super memorable. They do taste great dipped in sauces from the other dishes though so you can always order them as your "side of bread" But sometimes I visited the menu has been incredible and we always love feeling satisfied and with happy taste buds. Their current menu (April 2026) has a lovely Hamachi Crudo that comes with strawberries- such a fun pairing! We also enjoyed the miso cod and sea urchin "cacio e pepe" noodles. Wow, seriously can't believe it took me 13+ years of living in SF to finally come to Rich Table. WOW. Five of us came to Rich Table and absolutely went overboard :) no regrets whatsoever!This place is the real deal, and the kind of restaurant you keep thinking about long after the meal is over. We decided to order a la carte, there were 5 of us so you bet we ordered....a lot. We started with the Dried Porcini Doughnuts and Raclette Dinner Bites (I'm still dreaming about these). The doughnuts are earthy, pillowy, and completely addictive. We also ordered the Toro Toast with yuzu kosho on Japanese milk bread, which was elegant and luxurious, and the Aged Beef Dumpling with RT Chili Crunch, which had a deep, savory richness that had us scraping the bowl. The Black Cod Collar with mandarin sweet & sour and sesame was an absolute showstopper for me. The fish was perfectly cooked, the sauce bright and balanced, and the presentation stunning. More, now, please! The Linguine with chanterelle and aged parmesan deserves its own moment. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the chanterelles meaty and deeply fragrant, and the aged parmesan brought this salty, nutty depth that pulled the whole dish together. It felt simultaneously comforting and refined, the kind of pasta you'd want on a cold night and also at a celebration. And the Dungeness "Crab Louie" with blood orange, almond, and yuzu kosho - oh em gee! It arrived served right inside the crab shell, which set the tone immediately. The crab was sweet and fresh, the blood orange adding a bright citrusy pop, the almonds a subtle crunch, and the yuzu kosho tying it all together with a gentle heat and brightness. It's a dish that shows exactly what Rich Table does best: taking something classic and elevating it without losing its soul. The cocktails were fantastic. Rich Table really truly can have their own bar. I got the Root Awakening (mezcal, tequila, carrot, ginger, passion fruit, cardamom, lime) was a perfect starter drink. Service was warm and knowledgeable without being fussy, and the space is intimate and gorgeous. Rich Table is in a league of its own. Come hungry, bring friends, and order way too much - you won't regret a single bite. We are so glad we ordered a la carte; I'm sure the set menu would have been fantastic as well. This was a top tier experience. I finally was able to try this in March 2026 for the 1st time. This restaurant has been recommended to me multiple times and for good reason. Service. Incredible. The amount of food was perfect. We were full but not feeling sick. Almost every dish felt like a very layered flavor and texture experience. Everything was as complex in the best way. My friends recommended that I try this place in Hayes Valley and it was good but I'd only come back for a couple of the dishes. Aged beef dumpling with chili crisp - probably one of my favorites of the night. The chili crisp was so good I could just eat it on its own Toro toast - this was okay, it didn't feel like the toro complemented the toast very well and I'd still prefer it on rice Chanterelle pasta - I'm not usually a fan of mushrooms but this pasta was very good. Noodles were al dente and flavor was good Pork Schnitzel - while I did prefer this dish to a typical schnitzel, the acidity of the sauce and vegetables was a bit too much for me. POG shaved ice - this was probably my least favorite food item of the night, which is disappointing cause I usually enjoy POG. I got lucky and was able to score a last minute reservation on Open Table so I was finally able to try Rich Table. It is a really cozy, bustling, warm space. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by our friendly host who made sure to make us feel taken care of. It was a little wait before we got sat, but it was a super busy night and I could tell all of the staff were doing their best. The food was all, as the name states, very rich! Portion sizes are on the small side but you still leave feeling extremely full with all the creamy dishes. The staff also surprised us with 2 extra sides on the house which was very sweet. Fantastic dinner spot that we will undoubtedly be back for, especially since my daughter's chorus is the next block over--perfect! Quite literally, every dish we had was super delicious--so much so, that there was no star dish of the night, because they were all stellar! Even my 6-year old's buttered noodles were fantastic--to be fair I don't normally even try her buttered pasta, but it surprised me that she didn't like it, so I tried it and realized the reason was because it was super tasty (she's more of a plain boiled box pasta type of girl)! I'd actually order that dish again just for me lol... housemade pasta in a super creamy slightly cheesy peppered butter sauce--a superb cross between cacio e pepe and Mac n cheese. This totally set the tone for what was to be a scrumptious dinner. Chicken liver mousse and pear on a soft almond cookie--what a unique and great combo. Definitely get this. Bluefin toro on toasted milk bread. Pretty presentation and even yummier than it looks. Porcini dusted bread rolls with cheese foam dipping sauce. Melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Good portion and heat was retained in each piece. State Bird Provisions has a lackluster mundane version of this. Uni cacio e pepe. Super saucy and lick-the-plate tasty. [Thai] pork chop was super unique and flavorful. Maybe a bit too flavorful--I think a nice pickled daikon salad and fresh herbs would balance the dish and offer some reprieve between bites of the flavor packed chops. This spot is pretty good overall, and since I lived right next door for a couple of years I ended up coming by twice, which says something because I'm selective even when something is that convenient. It's a solid value with consistently great service and food, and it feels like a place that knows what it's doing without trying too hard. I really enjoyed the anchovy chips, and while the Asian-fusion dishes were fine from my perspective as an Asian, they didn't stand out as much as the American-Californian dishes. We arrived for our 5pm dinner reservation and it was not super busy at all. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated in the corner table. We chose to dine at Rich Table for my girlfriend's birthday, and the staff truly made the night special. We started with their well-known small bites and especially liked the porcini doughnuts, sardine chip, and burrata garlic bread. My only complaint is I wish the portions were bigger! We got the sea urchin cacio e pepe and tajarin as mains and they were slightly underwhelming to us. The flavor was alright, but nothing stood out to make us want to come back. What really highlighted our night was the dessert and staff. I'm personally not a huge sweets person, but their panna cotta was so good -- it had the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy with the oat crumble. They also brought us a complimentary off-menu thin mint inspired dessert that was also really good. The waitress said if you know about it you can order it. Overall, the food was solid but the staff really made my girlfriend's birthday dinner special. They were constantly checking up on us and even went above and beyond with the dessert and signed menu to take home. read more

The vibes here are so good. The staff is so friendly and I love that it's fine dining quality food without the stuffy/sterile atmosphere and reasonable prices. We ordered the bone marrow tostada, toro milk bread, crab congee, and pork chop. Everything was my favorite bite. It's my fourth time here and I always forget that the menu is Japanese influenced. We've been wanting to try Rich Table for some time now. We were excited for our dining experience. The staff and service were fantastic! I loved the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant. The food was a bit underwhelming. I was most excited to try the Dried Porcini Doughnuts but they tasted like air and mushroom dust. Our favorite dish was the burrata toast which was a bummer as you can get toast just about anywhere. My husband was not a fan of the Pork Chop as the flavors were off. The Sea Urchin Cacio E Pepe had good umami, I could tell that the pasta was fresh and handmade. The Panna Cotta dessert was served more like a mousse which was disappointing. Had to use my Chase Sapphire Reserve $150 dining credit by December 31, so I snagged a 9:15 pm reservation last week through OpenTable with notifications set to celebrate a late anniversary. The vibe of the restaurant was not quite what I expected. Not so much upscale, but leaning more rustic modern. The interior is small and very busy/loud. Service was excellent. Super attentive and genuinely knowledgeable. Our server Erika did a fantastic job describing each dish and guiding us through the menu. They surprised us with dried porcini doughnuts with raclette on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. I am a classic over orderer, and Erika was refreshingly honest and told us we could skip one of the bites. I really appreciated that she was not pushy or trying to upsell unnecessarily. At the end of the meal, they gave us a menu signed by the entire staff to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice gesture. They even gifted us a Japanese sapling tree, which was incredibly sweet, unique, and memorable. No restaurant has given us such special treatment for a celebration before. What we ordered: Burrata with citron ginger tapenade, almond, and Douglas fir garlic bread ($23): Just okay and I would skip this. The toppings felt a bit all over the place, and the flavor profile did not really come together for me. Sardine chip with horseradish crème fraîche ($4 each): Nothing special. The horseradish crème fraîche was the highlight, but overall it mostly tasted like a salty chip. Aged beef dumpling with chili crunch ($5.25 each): Tender and packed with flavor. Definitely on the pricey side for a single dumpling, but very enjoyable. They also sell the chili crunch to take home for $9. Dried porcini doughnuts with raclette ($13 originally, but on the house): Loved these. Warm, soft, and fluffy with porcini dust adding depth, and the raclette was delicious. A must order. Tajarin with Perigold black truffle and pomegranate ($36): Tasty, but a bit bland overall. I was expecting a stronger truffle presence. Tonnarelli with sea urchin cacio e pepe and Idiazabal ($32): Probably the most popular dish on the menu, but it did not wow me. The uni flavor wasn't really there for me and it leaned on the saltier side. You can definitely tell the pasta is fresh and made in-house. This was what I was most excited for so I was definitely a little disappointed. Miso black cod with Japanese curry, winter radish, and wasabi ($41): A unique and well executed take on a classic miso black cod. The fish is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. One of my favorite dishes of the night. 21 day dry aged ribeye with roasted garlic beurre blanc and Meyer lemon ($49): A must order. The steak was cooked beautifully and paired extremely well with the brown butter style sauce. Overall, the food had some highs and a few misses, but the service and thoughtful anniversary touches really stood out and made the experience special. We did end up leaving with four boxes to-go, and the amount of food we ordered was more than enough for two people. One thing to note is that there is a 6.5% surcharge added to the bill. read more

Even though we ran 15 minutes late to our reservation due to traffic, we really appreciated that they were still able to seat us at the bar! Maybe it was because we arrived a bit late, but we were seated at an awkward corner of the bar right by the front entrance and spacing was pretty tight! ~the food~ - Dried porcini doughnuts raclette ($13): SUPER fluffy savory doughnuts with an airy/fluffy cream dipping sauce. The doughnuts were super fluffy, but still had a nice chew to them. Honestly this might've been our favorite dish of the night. - Sardine Chip with Horseradish creme fraiche ($4 per chip): very fun and cool concept, but I thought the taste was just okay! It really was just a singular potato chip with a sardine, but it was still good! - Black cod collar, mandarin sweet & sour, sesame ($14): pretty good! The cod was very tender, and I think the freshness of the mandarin was a nice touch! - Sugar snap peas, honey mustard, horseradish ($20): super refreshing! Really enjoyed the natural sweetness of the peas, and I think the freshness of this dish balances the other dishes at RT very well. - Tonnarelli, sea urchin cacio e pepe ($32): pretty good! The pasta was cooked nicely and had a nice chew to them. The sauce was honestly maybe a bit too cheesy for us? We couldn't really taste the sea urchin in the sauce as it was very creamy/cheesy. - 21 day dry aged ribeye, black bean, green garlic, crab butter ($34): the steak was cooked really well and was very tender. We were very excited about the crab butter, but we actually ended up thunking that it would be better without it, ad the butter made the dish a bit too heavy for us. - Warm coconut cake with coconut/line sorbet: This was heavenly. The coconut cake was fluffy, with a crunchy top and had such a nice coconut flavor without it being overpowering. Honestly, I would come back again just for this dessert. 10/10. ~overall~ Staff were very friendly and sitting at a bar was pretty nice, but the seating felt a bit too cramped imo. I'll be honest--Italian food is usually my least favorite cuisine, so I didn't go into Rich Table with high expectations. But this place completely surprised me in the best way and absolutely earned a solid 4 stars from me. What really stood out was how thoughtfully everything was put together. The pasta dish was incredible--the sauce was rich, balanced, and honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. It didn't feel heavy or overly traditional; it had a unique depth that kept me going back for another bite. And the bread dish? Immaculate. Perfect texture, full of flavor, and clearly made with a lot of care. Beyond the food itself, the whole experience felt elevated without being pretentious. The menu is creative and a little unexpected, which I appreciated, especially since it made Italian cuisine feel exciting to me for once. Service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere struck a nice balance between cozy and refined. Even as someone who typically avoids Italian food, Rich Table managed to completely win me over. It's the kind of place that makes you rethink your preferences, and I'd definitely come back to try more. read more

We made reservations to celebrate a birthday and were seated immediately upon check in. The server was kind, attentive, and gave us recommendations on how many dishes per category to order. The restaurant has a somewhat open kitchen concept so if you're sitting closer to the bar area, you're able to see them preparing dishes as well. We ordered a handful of items, 1/2 dozen oysters, porcini donuts (must try!), sardine chip (could pass, we wanted to try as that's a well recognized item -- tastes exactly what you'd expect), toro toast (so good, probably my favorite item), halibut crudo, beef rendang agnolotti, and grilled pork chop. They frequently changed our dish and silverware between meals, which was nice but a bit excessive at times. We did receive a sweet birthday treat at the end which was a nice surprise. My husband and I had a rare date night since my mother-in-law was visiting and could watch our kids. We had a credit card benefit that needed to be used, which gave us $150 to spend at a select number of restaurants. Rich Table was on the list, and I had always wanted to try it. I had read lots about it from their James Beard nomination and prior Michelin star status. I was really excited to try it! We snagged a late-night reservation, and we're seated in a cool window seat. We opted to splurge on the tasting menu! To drink, I had a milk-washed cocktail, which was outstanding. When our server described it as a drink without tannins, I was sold! Usually, I don't love the ending note of an alcoholic beverage, but this drink actually left a better taste in my mouth at the end than its first notes on the tongue! Wow! It was fabulous. It was so smooth, and my husband was quick to notice the impossibly perfect, clear ice cube. The tasting menu featured some greatest hits I had heard all about, including the porcini doughnuts and the sardine chips! I loved the entire starter array that was brought to the table! There were so many delicious bites from the Hog Island Oyster shooter to the albacore tataki! I was a little surprised I didn't love the sea urchin pasta more. It was certainly good, but not as memorable as, say, the very interesting fried rice a la plancha and the very interesting curry! I felt the same way about the 21-day-aged ribeye. It was good, but forgettable. They really shine at their small bites! I'm really happy the tasting menu featured so many of those. The meal started so strongly, but then it lost a little steam on the mains and desserts for me. I love their use of fresh seasonal ingredients and using them in avant-garde ways. The team is very innovative! The dishes were very creative, and the staff and service were outstanding. I was heading to the bathroom, and a staff member was walking by, and they even opened the door for me. Plus, the entire restaurant signed a menu for me when they heard it was my birthday! The table over was celebrating a wedding anniversary, and they gave them a treasure to take home as well. We had a really great time here. It was a really nice experience and a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion! I highly recommend it, and it was great to do the tasting menu to try so many items. If you have never been or haven't been in a while I would recommend doing the chefs pick ($125 per person as of Feb 2026) since they do change their menu throughout the year. We did just that for our date night dinner recently and were not disappointed. This honestly remains one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Rich Table is one of the best restaurants in SF for a reason! The food is always amazing. It's the perfect place to go to celebrate a special occasion or to take someone you want to impress. I came with a party of 5 so we did the family style menu which was perfect for a big party. It was my first time doing family style (prefix) at Rich Table and it was great. We got to try so many different dishes and it was portioned out well. It's a good way to try a bit of everything. The meal started off with a buttermilk panna cotta, the porcini donuts, the watermelon tom kha, a gem lettuce salad, the sardine chips and aged beef wontons. They were all fantastic. The porcini donuts are always a must get. The watermelon tom kha was very unique and redressing. For the mains, we got the sea urchin tonnarelli, peach alfredo rigatoni, the summer panzanella, and the dry aged rib eye. I enjoyed all of them but my least favorite was the peach alfredo rigatoni. We still finished the dish but the sweetness from the peach was a bit odd with the alfredo sauce. For dessert, we got the mint chocolate sable cookie with mousse and milk ice, and the watermelon granita. Both were tasty, the mint chocolate dessert tasted like a thin mint and the watermelon granita was nice and refreshing. Overall I enjoyed trying the family style menu, it was great way to try some dishes I haven't had a chance to yet. The service is also great, the courses were well timed. read more

Visited Sept 2025. Enjoyed the food, the vibes, and the service, I'm just not entirely sold on all the dishes that were served. A few dishes that I enjoyed a lot were: - Dried porcini doughnuts (always on their menu for a reason, amazing bouncy texture) - Monterey squid and shrimp coctel w/ tomato and avocado (refreshing) - 21 day dry aged ribeye with pole beans (steak cooked well, flavours worked together) Some dishes were a bit of strange to me, like random flavours were thrown together or assembled just to look cool. I don't have a good palate but this was just what I felt when eating. The crispy pork belly with watermelon, mint and cilantro was a bit disappointing because the pork belly alone was insanely good, to me the other stuff on the plate just didn't really work with it. read more

Wow was I impressed by everything at Rich Table! My friends and I got the family dinner prix fix menu and a few of us had the drink pairings with the menu. I chose to let our waitress pair cocktail drinks from their menu with my food and she did not disappoint me. She was super sweet about everything and our tables were cleared and wiped down before the next set of dishes from the menu came out. A couple of us also got the truffle egg. So delicious!!!! From the drinks to the food to the service, I enjoyed everything on the menu and a few extras like the oysters and chicken liver mousse. The place was tight and cozy, but it felt like we were all family somehow. I had a wonderful time and my tummy and mouth enjoyed everything last bit of the place. I am sad that I lost the autographed menu by the staff for my birthday on my way out. I feel so bad and wanted to keep that. read more
