I have only known Mr. Daugherty for a couple of months but I found him to be a very diligent, effective and intelligent attorney. He was able to negotiate a settlement for me in what I considered to be a discrimination case. Having felt like my previous employer was being less that genuine with me by laying me off on short notice and saying that my "position was being eliminated" but then replacing me with someone else less qualified than me made me feel like I was being thrown out with the trash. Without getting too much into my particular details let me just say that were it not for me using his services that I could have found myself in a financial hardship due to my age and even though it is not explicitly said or done this does happen. His ability to negotiate for me was a life-line since I attempted to negotiate with my previous employer without any success. In addition, his terms were reasonable and fair.
